The only reason to wear one is if you plan to do a garter toss…

@Marbut4613:  I wore one and I didn’t do a garter toss….but I mainly had it b/c hubby is a huge san diego chargers fan so I had one just for the sake of him as a lil surprise! Also to have a few pics with it. It was more of a keepsake to us both. I only spent $10 on it on ebay!

@weddingbound:  I love that!  Another Chargers fan here.  My husband would have died if I’d have found this since he is a die hard, obnoxious Patriots fan.

i wore a garter eveN though we didn’t do a toss.  It was embroided with our initials and was my “something blue”

@Marbut4613:  I think some brides wear them just for fun. Do you think they’re cute? Would your FH like it?

@Marbut4613:  I say do it if you and your FI would enjoy it. Otherwise, skip it!

I think they’re a fun surprise for your FH, so I am going to wear one and not toss it.

@Marbut4613:  I still would. Typically when you toss there are two anyways, one you wear all day and one you put on just before for them to remove so if you’re sweaty or anything it doesn’t get “gross”

@Marbut4613:  I plan on getting a lacey vintage style garter for my FI to find after our wedding even though we aren’t doing a garter toss anyway. 🙂 I say go for it, you DH will love it after the wedding and reception is over!

I’m wearing one for picture purposes and a fun little surprise for FI 😉 We’re not doing a toss either.
