Sounds like FMIL is being a real twit, but she couldn't be more wrong about your taste or crafting skills.

If she's anything like my FMIL (and she sounds like it) she is just being a b!+(#!

They look amazing..i have come up woth some ideas and showed them to her, and she has the same responses..anyways i cannot afford to buy premade anything..and i really like to try and do things myself but she is also concerned about how her friends and family see how they live..w/e!

If i was you i would just discuss it with the cousin, explain to her what happened and tell her how much you appreciate her help but that you would like to do them yourself and that she can give you advice or something.

I know what its like to be around people who make you feel like you can't do anything right. I lived with them for a whole year and even though i work full time and i had to stop taking classes so that her son could volunteer with a football team and especially she does not think i do enough!

OMG! I'm definitely biased, bc I think we might be DIY twins! <hears twilight music> If that stamp is from Stampin' Up! I used the same stamp on my invites + "all you need is love" I also had hydrangeas in my bouquet... ;)

wow! from your description of your fmil's behaviour I thought we might be in for something horrible- which is SO not the case! Your projects look amazing by themselves and together- you did a great job! Be proud of yourself and I bet your guests will LOVE all those touches!
