My FI has told me that one of the things he is looking forward to is having sex with me in my wedding dress. I guess I'm ok with it, as long as it isn't too messy. All I can think of is the scene in Four Weddings and a Funeral where the couple does it at the reception. I am definitely not down for that.
It made me wonder, are any of you planning on doing the deed in your beautiful white dress? Have any of you?
LOL I like the novelty of the idea but realistically I know that by the time our alone time comes around I'm gonna wanna get the f out of that dress! I plan on buying some super sexy undergarments to wear, though.
I can barely walk in my dress. If FI can figure out a way to make it work, LOL, I will give him an award.
LOL! I think this is an awesome idea in theory. But, I know, with all the layers and floof on my dress, I just don't think it's possible!
We might have acutally discussed this a couple nights ago. I told him it's yet another reason I'm going with tea-length.

Oh my gosh! I am the Queen of Raunchy and yet--how is it possible that this has never crossed my mind?!?!?! My, my. I seriously doubt I will be wearing the gown while we are knocking boots. But I offer a sheepish grin and nod to those of you who are!!!!
that's hilarious! I probably would have if it wasn't soaked from the impromptu trash the dress session at my reception.
I'm going to be out of my dress so fast!!! Especially since i'll have on a slip and corset top too! Oh no!!!
I want to do it I want to do it - - my dress is a little tricky but I would go crazy if FH could be able to work his magic while I have my dress on, HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH
Ha ha! We didn't at (or after) the wedding but that might be a fun 1st Anniversary sort of thing! I'll have to remember that...Husband would definitely be down. :-)

@wildstyle--i know! spanx=unsexy. My FI hates spanx, so I will have to either find a sexy spanx style alternative, or just go spanx-less. What a dilemma!

@wildstyle and VM - my maid of honor dragged me mid reception to the bathroom and DEMANDED that i throw my spanx in the trashcan. I compromised and let her put them in her hamper so i could get them back some day. Take those suckers OFF mid reception and don't look back!
Fi has requested this. If he can figure out how to make it work without destroying the dress I'm game.
I think it would be kind of uncomfortable really. And your FI hates Spanx? Well, not that my FI thinks they are sexy but he understands they make me feel more comfortable in the dress. I do plan to change into something else, but not until I'm out of the dress....no big reveal for me--there's just no way. Who would put me back into my dress with the pretty stuff on minus Spanx?! HAHA
Actually, my spanx body suit is crotchless, so it might work out....
@virgina and melissa - what, you mean you guys don't think spanx are sexy?? i'm actually hoping that i can find something a little nicer to um, control everything

I never even thought of this...until my SO said he's getting some at the reception, no matter what....I don't know why he thought I'd object or be aghast.
That's the 2nd reason I'd like a short dress.LOL
I'm sorry, I couldn't sit down in any of the mermaid dresses I tried on, and I'm assuming my drop waist is going to make it a little difficult as well - I can't even imagine getting hot and heavy in that much satin, crinoline, corset and all.
Never crossed my mind-kudos to all who will try it! That said, there is NO way that's gonna happen. My dress is about four layers with the crinoline and I'm sure I'll be hot and sweaty and want the dress OFF when we get to the hotel room.
I'd generally be up for trying, but I have a drop waist/trumpet style dress, so I don't see it working.
Haha! The thougth didn't cross my mind either! By the time our reception was over, I was dying to get out of my dress though (not for fun time reasons either lol). Funny though!
Slightly off topic- Some of you guys did/will make naughty during the reception??? How?? lol I guess maybe if you have a large wedding people might just assume you're mingling with others, but with my smaller wedding (50ish people), I don't think we could have pulled it off lol Would have been fun though!
Yet another plus for my empire waist gown... Although, with the layers and the lace, I worry a little bit about chafing...

I mean, if he wants to, why not? I feel like he'll want to see what I got going on underneath, but I'm definitely not opposed.
I think I've spent too much time just wondering if he will be able to help me get out of the dress to have this idea cross my mind!
