Now that we’re in teh home stretch, the to-do list can be overwhelming! post three things here from your to-do list: one you’re going to do, one you’re going to delegate, and one you’re going to drop.
Do: Making the napkins. I am so close to finishing!
Delegate: Tracking RSVPs. The Mister can handle that.
Drop: Cute getting-ready matching outfits for my bridesmaids. Our style is all so different and I just want them to be comfortable.

Oooo I like this thread! Can’t wait to follow!
Do: Finish the centerpieces.
Delegate: Making the wooden direction signs to help our guests get up the mountain. That’s fiance’s job now.
Drop: I’m considering dropping either the burlap table runners or buying bulk mason jars for drinking glasses.
Do: Get the wine for our guest book. (using 4 bottles of wine with custom labels for our anniversaries and having guests sign the bottle)
Delegate: Paying off the rest of the money. Giving a spreadsheet to my mother of what is left to pay and how much and letting her handle that all on her own.
Drop: Favors. I was going to make coasters using tiles, but no longer care enough to do it. The whole set of tiles (like 200-ish) only cost me $20 so I’ll find another use for them in my house eventually lol

Do: Ski lift-ticket escort cards. I have all the supplies (sticker-paper and little wire lift-ticket hangers) but I’ve been putting it off until I get more RSVPs. I’m going to just start making them for the people I know are coming, and leave a blank space to fill in the table numbers later on.
Delegate: Table numbers with photos of us at each age. I’m going to delegate this to my FMIL.
Drop: I’m thinking of dropping menus on the tables. People can be surprised.

Do: sketch decor ideas for girls night wine and cheese assembling party. I have 400 feathers to sort out for all the decor (instead of flowers) and I need to do sketches of the different items as a guide for the girls
Delegate: Transcribing and transposing music. I am a musician, but have been out of music theory practice for awhile. I only had recordings of the music for the ceremony and our first dance waltz, but we are having live music because our friends are so talented and amazing. Problem, is I don’t have time or ability to actually turn the recordings into sheet music. My amazing BM who is a perfessional performer/singer/songwriter has so kindly taken on this task and saved me from a massive freak out. WHEW!
Drop: Making my own cupcakes. I am pretty good baker, and I was going to bake 100 cupcakes for the wedding to save money, but I just won an award at school of $500 that I was not expecting. To ensure I don’t have a meltdown or a panic attack from anxiety I am putting that money towards my cupcakes. It will cover it no problem. YES!

Do it: finish making list of decor items (candels, fake electric candles) needed and start working on the paper goods w graphic designing FH
delegate: MOH offered to take the #1-20 photos for the table numbers that FH was suppose to be doing for the past 15 months!!!! At this point I just want it done
about to drop it: i have been agonizing over picking out non-traditional music for our ceremony… I actually like canon in D and iis does give me that bridal feeling so…..

Do: Contact the officiant and photographer to confirm and work on details
Delegate: Paying vendors the balance – my parents can do this.
Drop it: Some of my DIY projects. I wanted to make some cutesy signs for the reception, but I just don’t care enough at this point.
Do it: tracking meal orders/making seating chart
Delegate it: figuring out centerpieces – my stepmom and stepsister (MOH) will be doing this (I hope….)
Drop it: elaborate slideshow w/ music. compromising by loading pictures onto a 15-inch digital picture frame and putting it near the guest book

Ooo I love this!
Do: Write the ceremony–kinda important 🙂
Delegate: ceremony music selection can be handled by my FI. We chose musicians together but I don’t really care about the specific songs that are played.
Drop: I was going to do place cards in addition to escort cards but I’m thinking now that they aren’t necessary.

Love this thread!!!
Do it: Contact photographer, DJ, caterer, write ceremony and send to celebrant
Delegate: The last of the RSVPs – it’s driving me nuts, FH can chase them up
Drop it: The whole family drama thing. I’m just not going to care. I don’t need the stress, I’m not going to let it get to us on OUR day.
