@MrsFarm0619:  Mine got really excited about insulating drapes. This is a good sign! 🙂

I think some men decide they need to  be more ‘grown up’ in their choices and style when they start thinking marriage and family or their own.

I remember my SO’s “mancave” and it really was a cave. No light. no real FLOORS! Mini-fridge and a Hot plate. It was horrible…But we played house in that place for 2 years before we got OUR appartment and forced good memories into that space. My SO didn’t have much growing up so now he looks at the things we have, the things HE has now, and is very greatful. We are about to buy 3 new peices of furniture for the living room and it was tons of fun picking them out. The same for our bedroom.

I don’t know if it is growing up, or nesting or whatever, but it makes him happy, makes me happy.

A few months after I started dating my now husband, he went out and got fancy sheets, a new pillow for me, a throw blanket for the couch, an A/C unit for the bedroom (we were in Boston where there isn’t A/C even though it gets hot), and my stocked my favorite foods in the kitchen. All without me asking! it was adorable! I don’t think all guys do it, but some definitely do!
