I am getting married on Valentines day so I am going to be making an envelope guestbook complete with Valentines Day cards. So guests will essentially write us a valentine and place it in the envelope inside the book. Like the picture attached.
I am wondering do most couples sign the guest book together or seperate? I am trying to determine how many pages I will need, one envelope per couple or one envelope per person.

Most guests signed mine together. “John and Mary smith” with a handful of individuals. I’d be over prepared and assume most would be signing individually. Better to have too many pages than not enough.

Honestly I usually forget to sign it at all unless it is shoved under my nose. But when it is I always write a message for the both of us.

Most our guests signed together, but we had a few couples who double signed. So we got a messgae signed “Sara & Dave” and then one “Dave & Sara”, which was actually kind of funny.

We didn’t have one. I never ever sign them. When I’ve gone to things with my parents when I was younger my mom signed for all of us.

You only need enough for half of guests to account for couples, ppl who forget, and duplicates.

I am inviting 350 people and expecting 250-275 (a lot are out of town)…..22 are kids U11, 31 are unknown guests (dates) who wont sign….and I will be sending out 170 invites total.
I am thinking I should use 210 envelopes (to leave room for some couples that might sign seperately, family members, wedding party, close friends). plus the number needs to be a multiple of 6 since that is the number of envelopes on the page …so 35 pages.
30 pages is only 180 so I think that I might as well play safe and add 5 extra pages.
Is that reasonable?

sniques: We always sign it together, and most couples and families (maybe 75%) signed ours together.

We always sign together and I’d say 95% of our guests signed together as well.
