Warning to all brides…. DO NOT BUY FROM a company called ‘HerBridalParty’
Basically I purchased one of their Infinity Wrap Dresses to make sure they were of good quality before purchasing the other 4…
Well it took them about 6 weeks to even post the item and then another 6 weeks to get to me…
BUT to their credit it came and was of GREAT quality so despite the wait I ordered the other 4.
This time I purchased ‘Ready To Ship’ dresses so that they could be sent straight away. Well 5 weeks on and I realized I hadn’t received a notification to say they had been shipped. So I attempted to message them on Etsy only to find the shop was no longer in existence on etsy.
I contacted the seller via an email I had on a paypal receipt and also emailed etsy.
The response I got from etsy was this…
Thank you for reaching out to us here at Etsy. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve had with your dress order from HerBridalParty. Unfortunately, this seller no longer qualifies to be a member of Etsy and will not be returning to the site. Although you’re unable to file a case for this order on Etsy, you can still open a refund claim based on your payment method. Because you paid with PayPal, I would recommend contacting PayPal directly to open a claim for refund. Etsy isn’t able to issue refunds for PayPal payments. Keep in mind you must open a claim within 45 days of the payment date on PayPal. Your ability to file a claim with PayPal will expire on July 24. If the deadline for this passes, you can also contact your bank or credit card issuer to open a claim. You may also want to consider taking these steps to protect yourself and others: – File a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx – Contact a law enforcement agency in your location or the seller’s location. I’m sorry there wasn’t more I could do for you, but I hope this information helps outline your options. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to get back in touch.
So I have attempted to contact the seller via email multiple times with no response and they do not appear to have a webpage or Facebook profile I can contact them through.
I know I will get my $500 back but I am now 10 weeks out with no bridesmaids dresses.
I don’t know if these guys will set up a website now that they are no longer allowed on etsy so please be aware.
Poor form! I hope karma gets these girls!
