My son is getting married in September. We ordered a dress from Weddington Way the first week in March and paid for rush service. Normal ship time is 10-12 weeks; we received the dress in just over 15 weeks. When I called in May, they said that it would arrive mid-June, still didn’t arrive until the end of June–not what I paid extra for! Then, when trying on the dress, my daughter could not even come close to zipping in the chest area. We sent very specific measurements (she has a very small body, size 2, but larger chest). I have no confidence that I can even send the dress back and receive it in a timely manner. When I tried to reach them, I called at various times throughout the day and never was able to talk with anyone. I finally emailed, it took them four days to finally respond. They offered to refund the rush fee but will not return the dress. We had a seamstress measure the dress, it is not even close to the measurements we provided. This company is slow and does not put customers first. We are now out $300 for a dress that fits no one. They’re marketing states this is an easy, stress-free way to order dresses. I would say it is FAR from it. As a mom, I have many friends who have children who are engaged and I have advised all of them to stay far away from Weddington Way if they want to be treated well as a customer and receive their dresses on time.
