Nlmiele-

I had tried on the same dress at a bridal shop. The seller just happened to be my size and had already altered away the straps I didn’t like…pretty hard to resist. But I would be lying if I said it wasn’t at all scary. I did have to trust her when it came to answering my questions but she was really good about sending a ton of photos and was very honest about a couple of things like a stain on the bottom of the hem and a missing bustle button.

I also tried mine on in a store first. We had a deal that I had 3 days after the dress was delivered to see if I was goint to keep it. If I didn’t want to keep it I would be respnosible for shipping costs and send the dress back. The costs for shipping and the return policy were discussed before hand so we were both on the same page.

I’m going to be looking to buy one online for a TTD shoot, and there are a ton out there to choose from, especially on ebay for knockoffs from China!

I also looked up my dress before I bought it, to see what other ladies were selling it for. And they are getting about 2/3rds the price I paid, so I might just end up trying to sell mine!

For sure. I’ve heard some good success stories. I just couldn’t imagine parting with mine!

ABSOLUTELY – several brides have tight budget parameters in todays economy. As a result wedding dress buying online is becoming quite successful. From reading several posts about it, it looks like brides try on several dresses in stores/boutiques until they find “the one.”  Once they have found “the one” in the store they go home & begin their online search, find one thats a couple of sizes larger, purchase it and have it tailored to fit their body.

Sometimes women do try on the dress they want at the bridal shop but cant afford it then get lucky and find the exact same one on here or another site and get a big discount, i would never wear a used dress but im planning on selling mine after the wedding, even though i have 2 daughters at a young age i know by the time they get married styles will change, it will be hard to part with it though because its sooooo beautiful
