Ok, come on. It’s rude enough to never send your RSVP back. (How hard is it? And come onnn, I took the time to make your invitation and put postage on it all.)
But then, when I contact you to follow up nicely- you just don’t respond?????
This is happening with about 6 of my friends. Fiance has yet to contact his list of 9 straggler friends.

yes they do
I just dont understand some people brains when it comes to reaching deadlines and they are still in lala land
Give them a deadline in the follow up RSVP and stick to it

@virgomasala80: How are you reminding them? If people are too lazy or disorganised to respond to a written invitation, why would they respond to a written reminder?
I advise following up with a phone call, so they’ve got to answer then and there. (And if they say, “I don’t know”, say, “I’ll have to take that as a no then”).

and can i just say that i hate the follow up bc it makes it seem like i’m begging them to come almost. seriously, if they just replied no, it would have been no problem. its not like i called up the people who said no and yelled at them or something! so now these people who havent responded are really just making it worse for themselves. dont they feel awkward that i’ve had to contact them? ugh!
