Just wondering if this is normal. I’ve had sore boobs for a few weeks now and today they aren’t feeling very sore at all. They only hurt slightly. Is it normal for symptoms to come and go? I’m a little worried. I have had no cramping or spotting/bleeding, but my symptoms have just not been too bad which makes me worried. I’m 6w5d today. Can anyone give their input?

Oh yes, even at 5.5 weeks, my symptoms come and go. Sometimes hour by hour. When I wake up, boobs are usually less sore, then by the end of the day it’s like cement blocks in my bra. I have a lavender heating pad I use at night to soothe them, so maybe that’s contributing. I’ve also had no cramping or spotting/bleeding.
It’s kind of sick, part of me wants to do nothing to relieve symptoms so I feel “more pregnant,” but the soreness keeps coming back so I just have to get over it.
I get it though. When I feel less symptoms, since I have so few already, it is very easy for my brain to go down a rabbit hole of worry. I’m telling myself even if I notice lack of symptoms or anything, nothing will stop a miscarriage if I were to have another one. It’s helping me enjoy being pregnant now and taking it one day at a time. The worry never really stops though, just continues to evolve.

Yes…very normal. They’ll go away…flare up for a few weeks…then they might go away again. Mine went away around maybe 7 weeks. Around 9 weeks I got the food aversions & nausea. Then all the sudden 13 weeks hit and I felt totally normal.

ClaudiaKishi : LilliV : UK-bee : boogiewoogies : MsPlucky : lula0508 : Thanks so much for the feedback! I feel so relieved. My mind of course went straight to the worst outcome.
lula0508 : So interesting about when you started to get nausea! I was feeling weird about that, too because I have experienced like 1 bout of nausea and I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. It’s so weird that I would feel better about everything if I just felt worse lol. But I just don’t feel that crappy at this point, mostly just tired and very hungry all the time! I suppose I should just enjoy it for now. 🙂

tm6173 : Yep nausea did not start early for me…and if it makes you feel better, I never really had bad morning sickness at all…so you might end up in that boat too :). My only really significant symptom most of the first trimester was being super tired & food aversions.
I was worried because people say morning sickness means you’re having a healthy pregnancy, so I thought does that mean I’m not healthy?…but everybody’s different. I’ve probably only been truly nauseous on maybe 6 occassions, usually when I haven’t eaten early in the morning…and I’ve only really thrown up once, after the 3-hour glucose test. I’m currently 26 weeks, and me & baby are both doing great.
