I have my own style, so I don't pay much attention to the accessories the models wearing with the gowns. From my experience, everything looks a lot different in real life than it does on the model.
I am wearing Allure and the models are all styled horribly so I think I will go with my own style. I am very picky too so I think it would be best if I just stick to my own vision.
haha, charmedlife! i'm the same way. My dress is from David's Bridal and I hate the way they styled it on the model in the photos! I will Def. not be copying that. If they had done a good job with her, I might have a different opinion.
I generally think the Maggie models look a bit dated - like they should be on Dynasty or something
I usually think they look at lot prettier on real brides. I love looking up one dress style, and seeing all the different ways brides have chosen to wear it.
They wouldn't influence my accessory choice much at all - but then, one of the things that made me know my dress was the one was that I started accessorizing it in my head - you know, like when you buy a new piece of clothing and you can instantly match it with a dozen things you already own
i hate how the model that is wearing mine looks... i so wish there were more pictures of someone else in it so i could see how it looks on other people. i have DaVida
I'm in LOVE with the Rhianna Royale and the model wearing it is totally not styled the way I would go myself. If anything, the models turn me off of some of the dresses.
I'm getting "Jenna" and I actually don't like how it looks on the Maggie website! It was the picture of bees on WB that made me want to try on the dress!
I am wearing Gatsby

I'm definitely not doing my hair like that- I'm not the big hair type...
My earrings are drop pearls - which I think is what is in the picture....
but I am also wearing a triple strand pearl necklace with a brooch clasp.
I think real brides look so much better in Maggie Dresses, I don't think the photographs or models do the dresses justice at all.. the best styled designer I think is Watters & WTOO I love their veils we have the collection from Sara Gabriel that looks like theirs.

I've been checking out the dresses on the Maggie Sottero webesite a lot recently. I have my eye on two of her dresses (the Jenna and the Destiny from the spring 2010 collection) and may end up picking one for the second wedding my hubby and I are having here in the US.
I am so impressed with how Maggie has styled each and every one of their dresses - hairstyle, jewelry, hair flowers, veil, etc. So impressed that I am thinking of just wearing the same style of earrings. Hence, my other post on the Accessories board:

Has the same thing happened to you? Do you think the way the Maggie models are styled in the perfect way to match the dress?
