We just did the wedding party as our parents were already at the reception when we arrived.

We skipped the parent intros. DH's parents are really shy and my parents are separated. We just started with the wedding party.

I've never seen it without parents/Grandparents first, but I guess you can do it either way.

I've also never seen it without parent intros. We definitely introduced ours even though they mingled through the cocktail hour. So did we...but we still wanted to be announced into the reception area! It's only 2 more sets of names to read off (or a few more if you have blended families). Why not?

We did a parent intro after everyone came in. They deserved some recognition after all they did!

What do your parents want? You can do whatever, but I would do what makes them happy. They may want the recognition.

We're just doing the bridal party.

I guess it may also depend on whether they paid for it?

We did the parents.  It was important to my dad.

We will be inroducing my parents. They are the only parents coming since my SO's parents don't agree with the same-sex relationship much less a wedding. I want to make sure they feel special!

We didn't do the parent intros or flower girl intro. Our DJ just announced our adult bridal party and B&G :) I've been to weddings in the past that have done it both ways, so whichever your preference I'm sure it will go over just fine!
