Now that the wedding is getting close and we are about to close on our house, I am becoming a little more budget conscious. I could save myself about $500 by using these tall centerpieces on half of the tables. Do they look too plain or cheap? I will have white linens on the table with chocolate brown napkins and then white chair covers with the chocolate brown sash. I was originally going to do brown glitter branches in tall pilsner vases with candles hanging from the vases. I just feel like nobody is really going to appreciate that I spent $500 on them and they aren’t going to remember that a year from now. Thoughts??

I like it , but I am into simplistic and clean lines

Could you use another color maybe? I think it might be too much white.

I like it as well…But like CM I am into simplistic as well. I think with all the silverware and plates it will look great.
Honestly I think it goes well with the windows. I think you can even spread out the pedals a little more and you are golden.

I agree that it’s a lot of white. It probably wouldn’t add any cost to make the candles a different color or change up the beads a bit?
It doesn’t look too plain, though!

Perhaps add a few more petals around it and a few votives? It’s could use a little more, but I understand trying to keep the budget down.

could you have some branches in it? With flowers that hang down?

I like simple centerpieces so I like it. But I know many peope will think its too simple.

I think they would be fine as is, but if you want to change them up a bit, you could float one flower, branch, or interesting seed pod above the white gems and below the candle.

I think with the table done up with dishes and glasses, it will look simple, but elegant.

I think a runner would add a splash of color and wouldn’t be too expensive.. but I like the centerpieces.. keep it simple 🙂

I think less is more in this case. I think it only looks plain because there are no napkins, utensils, cups, plates, ect. on the tables yet.

Thanks for the opinions everyone! Here is another picture with everything on the table… Not a fan of the pitcher on the table. LOL Also, I wasn’t going to add the rose petals, but maybe I should…

Yea maybe make the beads a different color. And add some votives

What about adding a small(ish) mirror and as the PP suggested some votives. I don’t think they are too plain but I do think it might look better if they took up more space on the table.
