I want one of these sooo bad, but I have the feeling that it will just slide down and be really annoying all day. Has anyone ever worn one of these?

If it will stay in place, I will buy one.. but I'm really thinking it will end up being more of a nuisance.

this might be a weird suggestion, but could you use some of that double sided body/clothing tape to hold it in place?

    i mean this stuff:

I would think that the heaviest part would traven down to the front! Anyone own one of these who can help figure it out?

Mine stayed in place all day and all night.  I don't think I fussed with it once, and it was quite warm out.  I also took a big hike in my boots and dress and danced my booty off, and never had it slide.

What a beautiful photo, Mrs. DG!  I love that necklace, Nlmiele.  Hope you get it and it works out!

Could you possibly contact the Etsy seller and ask how they know it won't slide down?

I actually made one (inspiration from Etsy) and I tried it on with my dress and I didn't have problems.  It actually stayed in place!

Aww, thanks guys.  I was sweaty and covered in dirt and scrambling over granite in 90 degree heat... so I really feel like I gave it every opportunity to slip and it just didn't

I've never posted it before... This was the first time.  I just picked it out to demonstrate that the necklace wasn't moving.

I have a whole slew of never see pictures that I'd love to show someday ;)

    Thank you!

Mrs. DG, that is a gorgeous picture!

I love the necklace, I think Anthropologie has some beautiful ones in a similar style, too.

Yeah, I never finished recapping because I got into some sticky stuff that I didn't feel comfortable posting about family issues... so I just sort of dropped it.

But we did go for a great hike to take photos and it was so. much. fun!

Sometimes the best stuff is off the beaten path!  I'm sure it was worth it, and the pictures and good memories will help all the sticky stuff fade in time.  PS: LOVE that dress!

Nlmiele, is that from the Beautiful Garden Boutique on Etsy? I can't speak about this type of necklace, but I can rave about the seller. I bought my jewelry and all of my bridesmaids' jewelry from BGB.

I'm sure they do.  These off-centered necklaces are very popular right now (and soooooo gorgeous, I'm making one myself!).  I doubt so many people would both make and buy them if they were a problem.

I agree with arobb... I can't see them being so popular right now if they were in fact annoying!
