So I found a wedding ring I’m in love with but I’m not sure it would go with my engagement ring. Here’s a picture of my engagement ring (please excuse my ratty fingers):
This is the wedding ring I fell in love with:
I would probably bring this picture to a custom jeweler for inspiration and possibly have it be every other stone a diamond instead of all aquamarine to pull it together, but I just can’t tell if the two go together.
I’ve also considered switching my engagement ring to my right hand after I get married, because I have short fingers and I’m afraid that wearing two rings will be too bulky. I’m really bad with jewelry in general and never wear rings because they bug my hands, so I’m really out of my element. Can anyone give me any opinions or suggestions? Would it not be okay as is, but if every other stone is a diamond it’ll work, or does that not make a difference? Thank you!

I think they would go great together!

Thank you for the feedback! I kind of want to just start photoshopping them together but it’s impossible to do. I wish the retailer had a picture of the ring on a model to get an idea of how it looks on a hand.

Hard to say, but if that’s what you love I’m sure you can pull it off. It might not be everyone’s tastes, but it’s a beautiful ring and it only matters if YOU like it.
Can you maybe go into a cheap jewellery store (claire’s, ardene, icing etc) and see if they have something similar so you can get an idea what it looks like in real life?

I like that wedding band. I don’t see why it woulnd’t go together. If you can go to jeweler and see how it looks even better.
I have seen several “missmatched” e-rings/wedding badns I feel it looks good.

And theres one on this thread http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/what-do-you-think-of next to another more sparkly eternity ring. I think they look good together.

I like mismatched sets too and I love how unique that band is. 🙂

@HappierKate: I think those will look nice together. I’m like you with short fingers, and I’ve been wearing my wedding band around the house with my ering to get used to it, I know what you mean about them looking bulky. But I have to say that I’m getting used to it and I like wearing both rings together! I wouldn’t go any thicker than the band you chose though.

I don’t think they “match” per se, but I don’t see why they have to anyway. If you love it, go for it! To answer your question, I think it would look cool both all blue stones or with every other one a diamond, whatever you prefer. I like both.
