So far, I’ve gone from wanting sky-high heels to simple flats of some sort. I’m not a spring chicken, and while I am accustomed to heels (and prefer platforms) I think I might just go flat for my wedding day. Height is not a huge issue; I am 5’8″ and FI is about 6′ so I can wear whatever I want. So, with all that said, do these say “bridal” to you?

To be honest, I think they’re really cute BUT they are not bridal at all to me.

No, they say “gladiator” to me
BUT unless the shoe is satin and white, no shoe will say “bridal”! Its very popular to wear whatever shoe you want

The fake feet are wiggin me out.
I’m planning on wearing soft blue sandals for my “Something Blue.” Wear whatever you want. Long dresses hide your feetsies 90% of the time anyway.

OK; I’m already seeing an overwhelming NO. So, wise shoe ladies, what would you suggest? Dress is ivory with gold beading. Cannot wear pumps unless there’s some sort of strap to keep them on my skinny feet. Size 9.5, short heel, and would prefer to spend <$40. I’m open to blue, ivory, or gold.

They don’t scream bridal but in the end of the day, wear what you want and will be comfortable with. I’m leaning towards wearing blue flats to incorporate the “something blue”. 🙂

I’d go with something a little “prettier”. Also, I despise those chunky heels, they just feel so dated to me.
Here are some examples to illustrate what I mean, all from google searches, so I don’t have the store links (and they’re probably skecthy online stores anyway) but searching “flat wedding sandal” will yeild you similar results.
