This may sound so ridiculous….
Ceremony and reception will be at the same place. We are taking pictures down the road (less than a mile away) at a historic museum. Do we need a limo? Budget wise we can fit it.
I have a 5 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen, flower girl, ringer bearer… to transport. BUT I just dont know.. it seems ridiculous to get one. If it rains, it will be useless as we only plan on taking pictures OUTSIDE of the museum.
(should add we are all staying over night at the venue- it is a historic bed and breadfast. And we will all be getting ready there).

@SparkleBee11: Nope. We’re in the same boat and I’m saving our $$$. No limo needed. I’m getting dressed at the venue and taking pics there too. Save your cash!

@AirForceWife78: Thanks for the reply! I think I mostly just need reassurance it will be OK with out one 🙂

Sounds like you’ve done a great job working out the logistics so distance and large parties to transport are not an issue for you. Save that money and do something extra special on your honeymoon!

Honestly? I’d get some form of group transport, just because you are NOT going to want to climb into anything smaller than a large SUV in your wedding dress. It might be worth even just renting like, a regular Navigator or Sequoia or some other ginormous SUV, if nothing else just for the sake of your dress. Renting one of those for the day from like Enterprise or something would probably be cheaper than a limo but will likely make your life easier. You don’t want to squish your dress right before your pictures!!

No don’t get one! Isn’t it all a the same place except the pictures? Don’t bother getting one.
My bridal party (including me!) took a free shuttle from the hotel to the venue. It was a lot of fun 🙂

@SparkleBee11: i wouldn’t bother. save that money for something nice on your honeymoon instead.

Nope, it would be flat out silly to have one.
My venue was also “all inclusive” in that my ceremony & reception were both at the same place, but most of the places we went for pictures, we just walked. We didn’t walk more than 1/2 a mile, if that.

I wouldn’t get one. Save the money!
Personally, I have a mustang so it isn’t exactly ideal for a BIG ballgown so my parents are lending us their Navigator 🙂

I wouldn’t, but I’m make sure to have some transportation plan during the pictures. Maybe a few cars?
We’re not getting a limo either and other people are acting like every wedding needs to have one and it’s driving me CRAZY. No, we don’t need to arrive in a limo if we are getting ready on-site hours and hours before the ceremony!!! But that’s just me 🙂
