It's not needed but if you've got people that won't check the wedding website I'd put them in. My sister's wedding and reception are at the same place but we included one because we're doing a game hour instead of a cocktail hour and we opted not to say "reception immediatly following" on the invitations.
Do what you think is best!
I am also getting married and having my reception in the same place and I am not including them. I am only having the actual invitation and the response card. On the invitation I am adding at the bottom: Adult reception to immediately follow in same location. Please visit our website for more information www.soontobewalshweb.com
We didn't use a reception card, because our reception was at the same venue. We just included a line like "Dinner reception immediately following in the ___ Room" on the invitation. I figured it wasn't worth putting another card in, because no one would be driving anywhere else.
I didn't include one either as mine is at the same venue also. We just put Dinner and dancing to follow and said it again on the website. I dont think you need one.
No, you don't need one. We just included "Reception To Follow" at the bottom of the invitation since our reception is at the same place as our venue.
No, you do not need one since the ceremony and reception is at the same venue. I just wrote at the bottom of my invitiation: "Reception Immediately To Follow". However, I did have an extra card that included accomodation information on one side with directions on the opposite side. So my invitation suite contained the invite, response card, and accomodation/directions card.
you definitely don't need a seperate card if it's at the same venue. maybe write "dinner and dancing to follow" or something a little more fun that reception following.
whoops I didn't include one and I didn't put "reception to follow" on the invite either. I figured everyone would assume there is a reception afterwards since the location is remote. It is on our website though.

We are having our ceremony and reception in the same venue - is there any reason to include a reception card? Does the reception card usually include other information or can we get away with just including venue/accomodation addresses and details on our website?
Thanks!
