I would send invites out (probably informal ones that you write up instead of having them printed).
@MissAsB: Great idea. That's a nice touch. People will appreciate the note with a brief explanation as to why there was a change
We're planning on inviting his brothers (3), his parents (4), my immediate family (about 12) and the friends who were going to be in our wedding party. So basically, just buy some nice stationery and send some letters out?
Maybe those little fill in invitations with a note included inside? That way you don't have to write it all out over and over.
@MissAsB: Fill-in invitations? I've never heard of those...they sound convenient, though!
Another thought - if everyone is email savvy you can do super cute Paperless Post invites.
My friend had a courthouse wedding too and invited just a few people. She hand wrote the invitations herself-- it was so nice and personal and everybody loved it! :)
Congrats -- your wedding is so soon! :)
Have you looked at Michael's wedding section? They have premade invites you can print on, so it would still be a nice wedding-y invitation. Plus, if you search online, I'm sure you can find a 40% off coupon.
@glammy: I know! I can't believe it. :) I thought I would be waiting forever!

We switched our date (as of today) to December 11, 2010, for a small courthouse wedding with immediate family and friends. Should we still send invitations out, so we know how many want to come to the reception? Or will phone calls be enough, in this case?
