I would send invites out (probably informal ones that you write up instead of having them printed).

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy:  Great idea.  That’s a nice touch.  People will appreciate the note with a brief explanation as to why there was a change

Maybe those little fill in invitations with a note included inside?  That way you don’t have to write it all out over and over.

Another thought – if everyone is email savvy you can do super cute Paperless Post invites.

My friend had a courthouse wedding too and invited just a few people. She hand wrote the invitations herself– it was so nice and personal and everybody loved it! 🙂

Have you looked at Michael’s wedding section? They have premade invites you can print on, so it would still be a nice wedding-y invitation. Plus, if you search online, I’m sure you can find a 40% off coupon.
