I hear you! I feel like I hardly ever act my age. I feel like I’m always way more mature or way more immature! I feel like my mindset is older when it comes to logical things, but maybe I’m right on track for 26? I also can’t help but act pretty goofy. It’s just who I am.

I’m with you.  I’m 31, with all the responsibilities, but I am pretty goofy at times.  Of course, it’s mostly at home with just my Fiance and myself.  I apparently also look young cause the girl at starbucks thought I went to school with her – and she was 19! lol….I don’t think she had her coffee yet!!

I’m 24 as well as depending on what I’m doing I’m either more serious or more silly. I have a full time job, house, education, fiance… and honestly I think we’re right where we’re supposed to be. My dad is 54 and still laughs at poop jokes and my mom thinks swearing is hilarious – I think that’s just generally silliness, not immaturity ๐Ÿ™‚

I act my age for the most part, but there are times when I joke that I feel like a little old lady. For example, I love game shows, I sometimes go to bed early, and sometimes I don’t like crowds, haha.

It depends. In general I think I do, I’ll be 28 next month and I feel very grown up. I’m past the stage of partying, I don’t go out drinking, I’m very much a spend time with my family and friends girl.

But then there’s the side of me that has an inner kid. I’m a Barbie collector and some people tease me about it, thinking I sit there any play with Barbies. I don’t, I just collect them. But it’s a lot of fun!

I’m 23, but I have no idea what 23 year olds act like? I know I don’t act like I did when I was 18.  I don’t get really really wasted anymore.  I don’t up and quit jobs because “It’s sunny outside, and I wanna go to the beach”. Overall, I guess I’m just a lot more responsible. I’m still goofy however.  I still make up random songs and jingles & dance to them and stores and parking lots, much to my SO’s dismay.

I’m 25, and I think I act 25?

I don’t drink often, or stay up late partying. I have a career, a house, a husband. My friends and I all still make pretty immature jokes at times lol, but overall I’d say I’m a functioning, responsible adult.

I’ll be 24 tomorrow.  I act like I’m FI’s age which is 28 (29 in September).  It’s been that way for years though.  I say that because there are people who think 24 year olds are still immature and shouldn’t even breathe the word marriage.  Long story, but I’ve grown up and matured due to my experiences in life.

ETA: I have a good job that will pay for me to finish my last two years of college.  I haven’t partied since I turned 21 in 2009.  I am very frugal when it comes to money.  I run our household expenses.  I take on more than I shoudl at times.

I’m 22, but I usually feel like I act older. My stepdad likes to call me “the old soul”.

I got partying out of my system when I was in high school. I really don’t like to go out and most of the people that are my age just annoy me because they tend to be obnoxious and loud. I’d much rather stay in and read than go to a bar. I also own a home which is something I can’t say for most 22 year olds in my area.

So, I guess in some instances I act older than I am, but I’m still 22, and I have my moments where I goof off and act silly.

Turning 25 this Saturday! YAY! But I all my peers are 30. Early in our relationship they were all shocked to learn that I was only 23 (at the time). I don’t look old by any means. But the way I carry myself and the way I speak made them think I was at least their age. My DH’s brother is older than me by a month and you’d think I was years older and we actually have trouble just “hanging out” because I feel like I’m babysitting when I’m around him. Old soul syndrome over here. It’s not that I can’t have fun. I’m just into 30 yr old fun while he’s into college kid fun. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m 29 and I’d like to believe I act my age, but I’m told I definitely don’t look my age!  I’m finally getting to a point in my life where it’s like “Oh, I look 20? THANKS!” ๐Ÿ™‚

At work yes, at home or out with my husband or friends, no.

Seriously, I think my husband and I are backtracking in terms of how we act. Everytime we go out we act like children, husband has been known to start food fights with me at resturants! I always tell him that we act worse then children! haha!

@ButterflyDoll:  I totally know how you feel! For lack of a better phrase, I do a really good job of pretending that I’m an adult. I’m 27 and “responsible” (degree, house, car, full time job, bills paid)…and sometimes I feel like saying “HA! Fooled you all!” because I still feel so much younger. SO and I still goof around like we’re in high school. Maybe it just means we’ll always be young at heart? haha.
