My good friend that's getting married this fall is S&M.

Do your initials paired with your FI's spell something funny?
We're E&D which to me just screams 'ED!' but I may get over it because I really like the idea of using the monogram. If we use the last initial it will be eBd...but still... I'm not crazy about 'ED'

Our monogram is TAK, which is a charachter in a couple of Stephen King novels. Kind of creepy and weird!
Once I change my name, my initials will go from ACT to ATH. ATH is the short hand abbreviation for the town we went to school in (Athens, GA) and where we reconnected! Hee hee, perhaps a sign that it was meant to be(e)? :)
Our monogram isn't weird, but my new initals will be. When I change my name it will be WET
@DC Anna: My FH and I are also UGA alumni! GO DAWGS! We have DT, DHT, and DH. Lots of baseball stuff. Detroit Tigers, Designated Hitter, the steriod lots of the baseballs got busted for using... (haha)
We have normal initials... KMW or HPW K&H.
BUT, my BILs initials are JEW. Can you imagine? We live in the South...everything is monogramed! LOL
Our monogram is CCN...which if you don't look closely always looks like CNN to me! Because of that, we won't be using our monogram much. ;) Oh and our initials together is NC...which is where I went to college!
My initials will remain the same after we marry (our last names start with the same letter)....but if we'd decided with a monogram motif for our wedding it would have been S&M....so we opted not to :D
Ours initials together spell CAT....So no monogram for us.
On a side note, Tessabella 76, TAK is also the word for Thank you in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian (though not sure if it is spelt that way in all three). I think that is cuter than the Stephen King character :)
When we are married my initials will be HEG
So glad my parents didn't choose an A or an O middle name (HAG, HOG!)
Our first names together are BM, and I really wanted to use them throughout the decor but didn't want people to be thinking of bodily functions the whole time. My new initials will be BEG.

My friend's initials currently are BLT (makes you hungry, right?) so she can't wait to get married and get rid of that! :)
Our initials are fine together, but my new initials will be COW which my future stepson thought was HILARIOUS! Oh, kids...
I'm currently JAM but if I take Mr. Spin's last name I'll become JAR. JAM JAR! Strawberry rhubarb, plz. ^_^
And our first initials together are JK which always makes me think of j/k (just kidding).

Our monogram is JRK=jerk. Or if you just do our first names JK, which I can't look at without thinking, just kidding. Not exactly the sentiment I wanted for our wedding day.
And my new initials...KLR=killer.
Ours will be OLE! Without the last name, we're OE, which is his family nickname and first & middle initial.
My initials now are TMC, I refer to it as The Movie Channel! FI's are JAM! Together we're TMJ!
Our first name monogram is S&L, which just sounds like SNL to me. "Live, from New York!!"
Ours is REM like the band, or if you want to get really technical, REM sleep which is the part of your sleep where you dream!
Together, my husband and I are P.S. which I always thought was funny. Also, I was SAW, and when I changed my name I became SAL. I actually like SAW better! :)
Our initials don't spell a funny word, but we think they're funny because our monogram (first name-first name-last name) are his initials, CJN.

Our monogram will be CHL (Chill??) What is funny is that my initials are LCH so I will be keeping the same initials once I am married and just changing the order for our monogram!
we decided to not go with initial monogram because its JK so people would think we are "Just Kidding" lol we went for the shot versions of our names :)
nothing exciting. CNC which at the local university in my city there is an engineering program there (a bunch of my friends are apart of) and it had a song....so yay...lol
My initials now are JLK (or JK if you leave the middle initial off)! So ready to become JLS in 1 month :) ....We are using our first name initials on the doors, J & D....so it either reads "DJ" (my brother's initials/nickname) or "JD" ....which reminds me of jack daniels, oh well! For our monogram we used the S and our first names on either side instead of using just initials.

Together we're TM, or TandM (tandem); we'll probably create some sort of theme around this for the wedding.
I'll be TDP after the wedding, nothing exciting.
Our monogram will be TMJ also! My new initials will be JEM and it always makes me think of that 80s cartoon 'Jem and the Holograms'. Anyone remember that?!?
I wanted to use our first initials for our wedding decor but quickly realized it would be S&M. So then I thought about using our monogram but that turns out to be mRs... Mrs! I just didn't think it would look right only honoring the bride thoughout the wedding :) So we stuck with the first initial of our last name for the wedding monograms.
We love cooking, so it's only appropriate that our first initials together are a delicious comfort food: M & C!

Uh ours are K and Y....sooo yeah, we MUST put the las tname initial in there. a few people have already noticed that and been like. "KY?!!?!??! HAHAHAHAH" so yeah. dirty, filthy minds out there! (hehe like we didnt notice either!)
@Jessie4212-I TOTALLY REMEMBER JEM! i had a gem barbie doll - her earrings and ring flashed red and she had pink and silver sparkly hair. And, uh, Im sheepishly and embarrassingly admitting right now that I rememer the theme song for JEM, 
Ours aren't really anything exciting. We're A & K ...nothing really comes to mind. With his last name then we're ASK though so that's pretty funny. We're not using a monogram really though so no biggie. :)
Ours are JC and when I was playing around with making a monogram, I kept thinking Jesus Christ. I'm kind of sad to lose my maiden name initials (JKL) I always thought it was cool they were in alphabetical order and on the same key on a telephone. Now, I'll be JKR.
Our first initials are T & A. It's immature, but makes me laugh. I try to put it as A & T when I abbreviated for other people to see.
andreao, that's ours too! and i do the same because otherwise, i dissolve into giggles because i'm super mature. lol
