Yes. It's "The Planets Bend Between Us" by Snow Patrol. I'd like for that to be our first dance song!

Yes :) "Konstantine" by Something Corporate is our song. The lyrics aren't appropriate, so we will be dancing to "I want to know your plans" by Say Anything.

We have a song, it's by Over the Rhine, "Drunkard's Prayer". It's beautiful, but I have not yet decided whether we'll use it in the wedding. It starts out, "you're my water, you're my wine, you're my whisky from time to time..." and my favorite line: "like an ocean without waves, you're the movement that I crave." I think this might not be wedding appropriate.
If I had to guess, it's something by Robert Plant. We saw him this summer and it was the most amazing, romantic, wildly elegant show. He was on tour with Allison Krauss.
I'd want either "Sea of Love" or "All My Love" by Zep. He really was absolutely amazing singing the song sea of love with the orchestra behind him as the summer wind blew..we were outdoors in a gorgeous venue (chastain park) with glasses of wine in our hands and a romantic picnic.

Our official song is a toss up between BROKEN ROAD by Rascal Flatts and AS THE WORLD FALLS DOWN by David Bowie (Labyrinth soundtrack)
Since my SO knows how big a part of my life Labyrinth is, we decided to have our first dance to AS THE WORLD FALLS DOWN
We have no song! It's so sad! I dunno...we are REALLY going to have to think hard on what song our first dance will be do, because we both know it should be special and don't want to arbitrarily pick something that we just happen to enjoy at the moment....

Our song is "Into The Mystic" by Van Morrison... we will be using this as our first dance song :)
Miss Coca Cola ("Ello!" "Did you say hello?" "No I said 'ello' but thats close enough') lol such a great movie!
" In my Life" by the Beatles (but the remake by Johnny Cash) my FI played me this song a little over a year after we were together and told me that this song was for "us." I'm walking down the isle to this song & its a surprise for my FI, I can't wait to see his face!!
"Our song" is my favorite song and I tacked it onto our relationship because it's how I feel about my FI. It's 'Unchained Melody' by the Righteous Brothers and it's what I'm walking down the aisle to.
I guess you could say we have a song-- I wanted it to be our first dance song but he pointed out that the beat is too hard to dance to. It is "Right Down The Line" by Gerry Rafferty. We both just love that song and pretend to sing it to each other all melodramatically and have fun with it.
We asked the DJ to play it as background music at the reception, as well as a few others that are sentimental to us.
He would tell you that it is Lionel Richie's "Stuck on You"...b/c it's the first song we ever danced to.
Personally, I like the song, but I don't LOVE it - and I obviously don't feel the same connection to it that he does. Either way, it will probably end up being our first dance at the wedding, since I'm not particularly attached to any songs for us.
But no official song I guess.
"La Vie En Rose," by Edith Piaf. He used to sing it to me all the time over the phone and one day I asked why and he said it just reminded him of me.. and after that, it sort of became "our song". It's going to be our first dance, too.
"You and Me" ~ Lifehouse... b/c it is the first song we slow danced to. "Unchained Melody" follows closely behind b/c it is my favorite love song.
I feel like it is "Everything" by Michael Buble, but its not a said thing for us.
We are huge Rascal Flatts fans...our song is "Everyday" by them. And of course, we used it at the wedding...
The Rainbow Connection - by Kermit. It's whimsical and innocent and childlike...just like us. Also, the Muppet Movie was one of the first movies we ever watched together (3rd date) and we decided right then and there (3rd. DATE.) that this would be our wedding song. (*swoon*)
Our song is Boston's "More Than a Feeling" -- when we used to go out for lunch in high school we always used to play it on the jukebox. Our plan is to play it as we make our entrance into the reception.

'Loving you' by Minnie Ripperton. lol. We've been singing this song...mostly by changing the lyrics to something more appropriate and silly at the time...for as far back as I can remember. This will not be our wedding song b/c of how cheese it is, but it is the only song that would come close to being 'our song.'

WE don't really have an official song, but FI gave me a song, "Shut Your Eyes" by Snow Patrol because he's always telling me to shut my eyes and and his words paint pictures in my head. :)
Our theme song is Two Step by Dave Matthews Band. The phrase "Celebrate we will" is in the song and that became the theme to the entire wedding!
Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire". I actually left a bad relationship to get where I am now, and this song was playing the night I agreed to meet FI for a drink after 8 years apart. He looked at my ring and said "someday, you'll be wearing my ring". He was right. Now I play the same song every time we go in to that pub.
Our song is "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" by Neal McCoy. We played it at the ceremony right before the song I walked down the aisle to.
We don't have an official song. I was actually a little bummed about this when we were planning the first dance, because we didn't have a song that was already special for us. However, I was happy with what we chose and I know it will be special for us from now on.
We don't really have one! We go out to shows all the time and have really similar taste and share favorite songs... but nothing that is like "our" song. The songs that would come the closest to being our song aren't at all sweet or romantic - they're just songs we both love singing in the car to, haha.
It's going to make the first dance choice very difficult...
We have one that we both silently agreed is our song. Whenever it comes on we both look at eachother and smile. Its such a nice feeling, but the really sad thing is that its not really wedding appropriate because of its subject and just the sound of it. The song is called "Make Love" by Daft Punk. We are still debating whether or not we should use it... sigh.
Our song is by a Boston-area folk artist. It's titled "If I had my way", by Lisa Bastoni. It's about being in a LDR (which we were initially). i'm so excited b/c my gift to fizicsGuy is having it rewritten and recorded to "now I have my way". The lyrics she wrote are absolutely amazing...and capture us perfectly.

Our official song is "First Time" by Lifehouse. It' not really a wedding dance song AT ALL, so our second closest to official song lol is Rascal Flatts' Broken Road, and we'll be dancing to that our first dance :)

I totally want our first dance to be to "When the World Falls Down". I am a huge Labyrinth and Bowie fan. That was one of the first songs I considered when going through my music library. Now I just have to convince the fiance :D
