    i think there’s something out there keeping watch. i like to think that both of my grandmothers are up there watching, with two of my great grandparents and my great aunt.

    I would say Maybe, if there truely was a “guardian angel” looking for for people than there wouldn’t be horrible accidents/deaths.

    This is pretty cool.

    I once woke up in the middle of the night, and there was a little girl standing near my window! Clearly an angel.

    Soon after, my Mom announced she was miraculously pregnant (after two rounds of cancer and treatments, she had been told she was infertile). I swear to GOD, the girl I saw is my sister.

    No. Too many people die in too many horrible ways to even count every single day. Millions of people are starving, suffering war or preventable diseases as we speak, and world-wide, the death rate for children under the age of 4 is tremendous. Just because I happen to be lucky enough to have been born under relatively good circumstances in one of the wealthiest countries in the world doesn’t mean I have a “guardian angel”.

    @echomomm:  +1.

    I don’t believe in angels or an afterlife, period.

    I seriously believe so. How else can you explain how I survived my accident? My car was hit, I crossed 4 lanes of highway during rush hour, went down a 50 ft. ravine and the police said my car was going about 80 miles an hour when it hit the tree. They had to cut me out of the car and fly me to Hershey Med. I remember nothing about the accident at all. While I had fractures, there were no internal injuries. Even the police said I must have had my guardian angel with me that day.
