I also don't believe in ghosts or psychics. I'm probably one of the most skeptical people you'll ever meet.
I believe that karma (in Eastern terms) just means that one thing happens, then another. A chain reaction.
Do I believe that you store up "karma?" In a western sense? No way. No way at all.
No, I don't believe in karma. Sh*t happens to the best people all the time. You're right, we should treat others well because it is the right thing to do ... not because we think "karma" is going to either reward us if we do or come around and bite us in the butt if we don't.
Yes and no.
I agree with fontgoddess, sh*t happens to the very best of people sometimes; and amazing things happen to the biggest jerks.
However I tend to believe that life has a balance, good and bad mixed, and one should generally "get what they give".

I do believe in karma, is a sense. I agree, I don't think there is a "cosmic force that doles out spiritual justice" but i think people create the world the live in.
My way of seeing karma is if you depend on taking things from people, you will end up with nothing that is actually yours. or maybe if you go around bad mouthing people, people actually think badly of you, not the people you bad-mouth.
Does that even make sense?
I absolutely believe in karma, but agree, unfortunately sh*tty things happen to good people.
I'm right there with you! I think that the only semblance of karma is that people tend to respond in kind - so if you're a b*tch, they're not going to want to help you as much. But that's not karma, that's cause and effect. And obviously shitty people can have good things happen to them - and often do.
But then again, I also do not believe in psychics, higher powers, ghosts, etc.
I said yes, but I don't believe in karma in the way that a lot of people in the Western world see it, like @cbee said.
Karma simply means "action" or "deed" and is what is behind the law of cause and effect. Karma is everything we do in our lives. People tend to throw the word around like karma is a tangible thing that comes to you after you've done a really good or really bad deed. I guess since I practice Buddhism it's different for me than those who view it in the Western sense, though.
I believe in Karma, but as most people here, I don't think it's something tangible, but as @crissycakes says, I think people create the world they live in.
No, I don’t really believe in karma.
I think, generally, good people are “rewarded” because most people that treat people decently tend to surround themselves with like-minded people, and you approach someone you know is a good person differently than you approach someone who you know is a sh*tty person.
There’s plenty of good and bad things that happen for no reason, and happen to people who may or may not deserve it.
I don’t believe there is any sort of “higher power” keeping tabs on us though, so my opinion is skewed that way.
No! But I do believe in a God above, and living life with a clear conscience.
Nope!
Danielle I am such a skeptic too. People have told me that my outlook on life is depressing. But I don't find it depressing I think it's realistic.
Shit happens and thats life - make the most of it. I live my life for me and my loved ones. However, I do believe in do unto others as you would like them to do to you. If you are generally a good person, for the most part, people are good to you.
I don't believe in a universe that is keeping score and deciding things in my life. I do believe that the way you live your life impacts what happens in your life in greater ways than we can understand. I think if you're a fundamentally good and kind person more good things will generally happen to you, and if you are fundamentally angry and mean person, generally bad things will happen to you.

I had a conversation with the boy's brothers and their wives last week about karma. The wives were SHOCKED when I said that I don't believe in karma.
I believe that people should be good to each other because it's the right thing to do. And I think that we should treat others the way we'd like to be treated. And I think that if someone is a giant asshole, then they deserve anything that they get.
But I don't believe in some cosmic force that doles out spiritual justice.
What about you?
