long story I don’t feel like recapping here. here’s the end of it: I’ve fallen in love with both rings for very different reasons. I’m keeping both! my justification: they were inexpensive, the cost of both bands together is less than what a lot of bees here pay for one ring. I think I will swap the bands often, depending on my mood.
how about you bees? do you have different wedding bands you swap often? my sister has a plain wedding band, and more recently she has been buying a bunch of CZ bands that she changes up all the time. I say a ring is whatever you want it to be, so more power to her!
the problem with my sister and I is that we change what we like all the time! we have never been girls who could settle on one thing forever (except husbands, LOL).

I say go for it. I love trying new things with my jewelry too. I currently have a sapphire and diamond wedding band that I love, but am thinking of asking for a contour diamond band for my anniverary. I would wear whatever I felt like putting on that day.

How about a photo with both bands and your E-Ring together? I am curious how that would look?
(Sucker for double bands….)

I do it. Sometimes I wear my “real” wedding set, which is my e-ring and matching band. It’s a diamond solitaire on a pave white gold band and a matching white gold and pave wedding band. Other times, especially if I am going to get my hands dirty, I wear my stunt ring, which is a cz eternity band. And I also have a plain yellow gold band that I wear when I’m wearing yellow gold jewelry. I’m thinking of getting something with cz in yellow gold, but I can’t really justify a fourth option.
I have to admit though, my husband much prefers it when I wear my regular wedding set (which is understandable given how much he spent on it).

@Treejewel19: I don’t have a photo, but I assure you it does not look good. too many styles going on, plus all three together make my finger look very fat! (I’m not a big person, but sausage fingers just run in my family unforunately.)
@Neva: LOL. I have a couple of CZ stunt rings that I wear when my “real” rings are in the shop too. plus a plain $5 stainless steel band I’ll wear for camping and such. my FI is going to have to get used to this!

I switch up the rings all the time and I’m not even married yet. I have this garnet ring…a diamond band…a couple sapphire rings and a citrine. Right now I’m looking around for a peridot to add to my collection. I think it’s fun to play around and match rings to my outfits.

Ever since my original e-ring became too tight and had been resized way too many times, it’s been torture trying to find a new/replacement e-ring. I just can’t be happy with anything and I’ve found myself changing rings daily. It’s sad. I also like so many different styles, now that I have the freedom to get a new one (nothing expensive, which is another problem b/c we don’t have money to get my dream ring), I can’t decide what I want to wear. My 10th anniversary is in 2 months and I’m hoping the ring I just ordered is what I’ll wear for a long time (until I get my official upgrade from hubby). So yes, I do change rings often!
