a little random but I read a comment earlier someone made on a thread saying they havent cleaned their ring in 2 yrs! My first thought was ew that’s so gross! there’s soo many germs that get trapped under the stone. I clean mine probably once a week. I’m super OCD though.
So do you clean yours Often, every once in awhile, or never?

I clean mine every time I wear it. I lov sparkle!
Sometimes I have to bite my tongue when I see someone with a beautiful ring that needs to be cleaned!

I don’t take my rings off when I wash my hands but I do if I’m cooking with something esp messy (meat, flour, dough, etc) and don’t want to get bits caught in it.
I clean it because it looks a MILLION times better when I do so – I hate seeing water marks or etc film on the faces of my stones and they are so much more shiney and bright when cleaned.
I use this jewelry cleaner I got at Target for like $5 but I heard windex does the trick as well..

I clean and polish mine about twice a week. I have a high setting that tends to get dirty quick but nothing a quick wash wont fix!

Whenever I wash my hands. Dawn works great on it, but I give it a good dedicated cleaning whenever I feel like it.. every couple weeks or months?
Yes. Hot water and dish soap with a little brush. I do it about every 2 weeks. It turns out just as clean and shiny as when I’ve taken it to the jeweler.

I clean mine about once every 1-2 weeks. I use boiling water and dish soap. Works like a charm!
I also take mine into the jeweler once every 6-8 weeks (mostly because I walk the store and pop in) for a cleaning.

@MissSweetiepie: I clean mine at least once a week. I also don’t take it off when I wash my hands so it gets a little cleaning then. It is a CZ so it only sparkles when clean.

@MissSweetiepie: I’m also super OCD and clean about 2x per week by soaking it in a mixture of 1/3 ammonia and 2/3 boiling water. I scrub it intermittently while it soaks and it works beautifully. My ring is platinum, but I’ve heard ammonia is no good for gold or white gold.
shameless post cleaning pic hahah

I plan on taking mine every few months to the jeweler to get it cleaned/redipped. It’s free and unlimited for life so why not 🙂
Post # 13
I take mine back to the jewelwer and get it cleaned there about every 2 weeks. Like PP said, its free and unlimited for life. Its crazy how dirty a ring can get in just 2 weeks.

I clean mine all the time.

@KimmySumShuga: oh I have that stuff too! I stopped using it and used dish soap with a toothbrush but I think the soap leaves a film under it so I started using the red jar again and it works great!
@Imhishesmine: haha my bestfriend always puts lotion and stuff on with her ring on and itgets sooo full of gunk! she doesn’t seem to care though lol

@WhatMaeBee: wow!! That’s super sparkley clean! I’ve used windex on mine a few times bc I heard it works amazing but I have also heard it’s really bad for white gold! Your ring is stunning btw
