Do you complain when there is a problem? (Restaurants, vendors, websites, etc.)

Not really. I can think of 1 time the service at a restaurant was so awful, I did speak to someone, and that was only because the manager was walking around asking everyone how everything is.

I recently ordered a charm necklace from Etsy, and charm is minuscule compared to what it looked like on the site. But I’m not going to complain. I’d just write a review saying how small it really is.

MissPine:  I do so politely most of the time if it is something that makes me frustrated to have spent money on it. Like yesterday FI and I went out to lunch at this really cute restaurant and I ordered a chicken burger with avocado, bacon, red onion, and cheddar cheese. Well they had chopped up the onion into tiny dice pieces (so they all fell off) and there was next to no avocado on there and absolutely no cheese. I politely told her there was no cheese and asked if I could have more avocado, and she said she’d take it to get it fixed. Then I waited about 10 minutes (and was feeling really cranky at this point as FI was done eating) and she brought me out a brand new burger and fresh hot fries. I wish she had just told me she was making me a new sandwich and saved me the 5 minutes of frustration, but it was all good in the end, because FI got my first batch of fries and I got a whole new batch and nice hot burger with cheese and plenty of avocado! I just brushed most of the onions off. lol

MissPine:  The way I see it, if you pay for a service or good you should get what they told you you would get. As long as you are polite about it I see no problem.

MissPine:  we rarely complain when something goes wrong, but we did ask for a manager at a store yesterday. We were being hassled by an employee who obviously made comission, and it got really old really fast.

MissPine:  Haha! Exactly! Being polite about it gives them a chance to fix it. AND when I got my new fresh burger WITH cheese and tons of avocado and FRESH fries (which I wans’t even expecting) I was so happy and glad I said something, becaues if we had spent money on my dry-hardly any avocado-cheeseless burger I would have been cranky for most of the day.
