All the time. Dinner 4 or 5 times a week, brunch once a week, lunch once a week! I love it. I’m finally at the point where I’m comfortable just making stuff up as I go along – I’ve always wanted to get to that point, so I’m really proud of myself! I can’t wait until our wedding so I can register for NICE pots and pans and knives and a food processor!

Yes, most of the time (although I put yes, sometimes). We probably on average eat out once a week. (eating out meaning either going to a nice restuarant, or having fast food/ordering takeout). Oh and we also have season tickets to our local football team and go to a lot of other local sporting events, and eat out any time there is an evening game, especially on a work night (there just isn’t enough time to get home, take care of the dogs, make dinner, eat and get to the game in time for a 7 pm kick off, especially for me since my commute is an hour during rushour traffic and it usually takes us an hour to get to the game, find parking then walk from our parking spot and get to the game). I’m a picky eater too, so if I do most of the cooking, then I get to eat what I will eat/like. If it were up to FI we’d be eating all sorts of weird foods…

Sure do – just about every night, and we try to have breakfast at home and bring lunch to work. It’s a lot of work but I enjoy it!

All the time. We make everything from scratch. The kids don’t get take out haardly at all. If they feel like pizza we make it, burgers we make it all from scratch. Including the pizza dough. We don’t buy tinned anything, except for baked beans on occasion. All our meat comes fresh from the butcher. It works out to be cheaper and much healthier knowing exactly what goes into your food.

Yes I do cook but unlike PPs– it’s not a favorite of mine YET! I’m hoping one day I’ll magically enjoy it. I do love to eat if that makes a difference.

I love to cook. It’s my stress reliever, but mostly I just really really really like to eat.

Yup I’m usually the cook (even when FI grills, I’m the one doing the marinade and stuff).  Ever since I got a Pinterest account I cook a ton more, too!  So many recipes to try that are right there for browsing rather than specifically searching out whatever I want to make!

I voted other. I technically prepare our meals but I always think of cooking to be something fancier than what comes out of my kitchen… Haha.

I just think tossing a salad and throwing a chicken breast in the oven isnt truly cooking.  Am I totally nuts??

@Mrs_Amanda:  For me, it was an instant thing.  It’s the only thing I do besides running where my entire head is clear except for what I am doing.  There is a total craft to it, yes, but for some it’s totally therapy.  You’ll find your groove.  Or at least eat well while trying!
