I've noticed some people create threads, while other people seem to prefer commenting. Obviously the site needs both types of people to thrive!
But def curious: are you a thread creator or a commenter? Or both?
Hmm, I definitely do both, but I'm much more prone to commenting. I think I've started 15-20 threads in the month and a half I've been here.... but God knows how many I've commented on, haha.
I'm more of a commenter but I will definitely start threads if I actually have something to start one about!
Both, but I like asking genuine questions or posting topics that I know others might find interesting, too. I enjoy helping people posting on the emotional boards so posting on others topics is fun as well.
I comment more, unless I think of something that I really want to post.
I'm more likely to seek out a thread that covers what I'm concerned about before starting a new one, so I guess I'm more of a commenter! Not many of those yet though...
Nerd confession time. I've been on forums for at least seven years, so I've gotten to the point where I feel very comfortable doing both. The hive is so big and diverse that I rarely have a reason to start threads, though! So I'm more of a commenter overall. :)
I'm very new to wedding bee so i've actually never started a thread and have only made one comment! In other forums its about the same, i expect to post a good bit in the future, but i'm not quite engaged yet :)
I comment more. Only because I only want to start a thread when I have an issue or something that needs the hive's opinion.

I comment more, but I'll start them too sometimes if I'm bored, but they aren't generally the most interesting threads or anything. I'm no Bellenga or anything though! (and I mean that in a completely good way! i love most of the threads she makes). Overall, I lurk more than I post though. Sometimes I'll read or skim the long posts, but I won't comment because I know it would likely get looked over being at the end lol
I comment more than post, but I will definitely post every once in a while. I am in a world right now where I'm engaged to the most wonderful man I've ever met and no one around me really cares. They're happy for me, but just don't think it's a big deal (it is!!!). So it's nice to get feedback on things like how my dress looks, what to do in tricky situations, etc.
More commenting, but lots of thread starting too!
I love this place and you can tell from myself (and Lillindy's above) that we hang here alot!

I don't like to go back very far .. maybe to the 3rd page and if I don't see what I'd like to discuss, I just create a new thread for it.
I love that when we create a thread we can talk about it in real time!
I'm definitely more of a commenter. I have created a few threads, but I comment WAY more.
More commenting but I have a decent amount of starters. They are also notoriously short lived.
I mostly respond to posts, but that's because I'm not engaged yet. I'm sure if I was, I would be more apt to post.

I have not yet created a thread but I think at this point that is because I am just starting my planning and don't have too much to write on! I do enjoy responding to others post. Seems like a good way to start!
I generally comment unless I felt the need to create a thread. I think I've only created a thread once or twice!
Statistically, I'm more of a commentor, but I love to post new threads. I'm just really picky about topics for new threads.

For a relatively new member (a couple of months), I have started a bunch of threads. One took off really well! But sometimes its a bit disheartening to start a thread that turns out to be a dud. Oh well, live and learn! I mostly try to start threads if I want to hive's opinion on something, or if I feel a topic hasn't been addressed and I need an answer. I always try to use the search function to get an answer before posting a new thread.
I tend to comment more than start threads, though I lurk more often than not. I guess I'm a bit afraid of starting a thread that never gets any replies :-[
I read more. Im usually here everyday reading. But I guess you could say I leave more comments than start threads
hahah I feel like whenever I create one no one comments! So I try to comment more on others.
I'm both, but it's so much easier to comment than to start a thread. I really try to think out what I want to say when I'm beginning a thread, and sometimes that takes a fair amount of time!
I comment b/c I like to search for threads that already exist rather than just sarting another one and having all the great Bee's just have to say the same thing again over on my thread.
Some of those older threads you search up have some great stuff in them!
