Yes, I do it too! I clip them for groceries, toiletries and cleaning supplies from the Sunday paper. Typically I use them at Walmart because they already have cheaper prices than the regular grocery store or Target.
Me too! It's actually kind of theraputic for me! I get such a kick out of seeing how much money I save :) I get both of the major Sunday papers, which gives a lot of duplicates...so the good weeks are really good! I also print them from Couponmom.com.
I don't usually use coupons, but I have a discount card for EVERY store I shop in that provides one.
Also, I buy a lot of generic stuff to save $$.
YES I sure do! Every Sunday, my favorite thing to do is cut the coupons out of the newspaper. It really does make a difference when you pay attention!
I don't cut them for much. I keep ones for fast food that come in the mail but I don't get the paper so I don't get a lot of food ones. Plus, I get a lot of our groceries from Costco, who sends out coupons once a month to the members for additional discounts. I use those on things that we need!
Like rosiechicklet, I go to stores where I have loyalty cards so I get coupons or percentages off or free stuff. We try to buy generic things when we do go to the grocery store instead of name brands. Plus, we put everything on my credit card which has up to 5% cash back on gas, groceries, and drugstores and 1% on everything else. We only charge what we can pay off every month and never carry a balance though, which I think is the only way you should work a credit card.
Some great blogs for you couponers - they taught me so much!

My mom loves playing the CVS game- she has 2 full closets of FREE (or better than free) toiletries and she gives them to us whenever we visit. I'm thinking of subscribing to the Sunday paper just for the coupons!
@MissAB: It's all about the Extra Care Bucks - You will be AMAZED what you can get for free!
I've clipped in the past but I always end up having the coupons expire before i need them or buying too much (like buy 4 get 1 free... then i have 4 extra things i don't use on time!), maybe i'll give it a shot this sunday!
I LOVE the idea of clipping coupons, and hope to definitely be on board 100% when we have kids/I'm at home a little more.
but since I'm working full time and responsible for most shopping and cooking (what I prefer!) it's usually too much to go searching for coupons, print them and adjust my shopping list accordingly.
I've done it a few times and saved $5-10 which feels really great, and I can't wait to get in the habit of doing it really regularly!
... I don't. I honestly don't buy that much stuff and since I live alone, I don't go through alot of stuff either. Even the food coupons don't help since I don't really eat alot of processed stuff (other than my Healthy Choice Steamers). Lots of what's on sale in the veggie section, but other than that... yeah. My friend recently got 20 tubes of mascara for free from Walgreens, though, by doing a buy one get one plus... some other thing.
@KMSull - there is actually a coupon for Driscoll's berries right now - fresh produce!! You can find it here: http://www.driscolls.com/recipes/healthy-recipes.php

Lately I have been getting really into this couponing thing. I have learned how to get all our toiletry items for SUPER cheap, or even FREE everytime I go to CVS. I've also started comparing the stores, and trying to match coupons to sales to save money.
Anyone else out there a crazy couponer like me? :)
Any tips to share?
