I want to cut my SO’s hair but he doesn’t really want me to. The farthest he lets me go is to trim his hair here and there every once and a while. But never a full out hair cut. I would probably give him a phohawk or however you spell that.

I’ve been cutting my fiance’s hair for a few years. His is pretty easy, it’s basically a slightly long buzz cut. It’s funny, I’m the one who suggested it, and after the first time, he was all for it, but now I never want to do it because I like his hair longer. He usually has to go into the bathroom and take the clippers to his own head so I have no choice but to fix it, or I’ll just pretend to forget that it’s haircut time…hehe.

Sometimes when he trims his own hair at home he asks me to even it out in the back and trim along the neckline.  I get so ticked off because I can never get it completely right.  Drives me nuts.  Wish he’d just go to the barber and try to save $5 some other way.  😛

I’ve cut DH’s hair several times, but all before we were married. He has really crazy curly hair, and most salons end up messing his hair up and we have to fix it anyway. So we decided to cut out the middle man, save the money he was spending at the salon, and just have me cut it. It’s actually a two person process–he uses his fingers to gauge how much he wants cut, and I just cut above them. Works out great!

I’ve been cutting his hair for a couple years to save money, and every once and a while for like special occassions and when I don’t have time he’ll go to the barber. It’s so worth it, the clippers pay for themselves.

I do!  Well kind of.

Darling Husband shaves his head but sometimes if he goes too long between shavings, he has to cut his hair shorter with clippers first.  So I often man the clippers to get his hair to a managable length to shave!

I’ve been cutting his hair for a while.  Sometimes it comes out great, sometimes the fading is sloppy.  He didnt let me cut it for the longest time cause he was scared it would look awful, but I was like.. c’mon, even if it comes out bad, it’ll grow out in two weeks tops and can be fixed.  And the cost of the kit was liek the same as a haircut, so no loss there.  Now he loves not having to go get his haircut and just being able to do it whenever in the convinence of our own home.

SO didn’t even trust me to cut out the invitations, so no he would not let me near his hair with a pair of scissors. lol

I do because everytime he was coming back from the barber it was uneven anyways. I actually do a short buzz cut and then we let it grow out a bit before cutting it again. I think it is actually time to cut his hair again. Funny how reminders come around…

I have been cutting hubs hair for years, even though I’m not that great at it, but his hair is very forgiving so as long as I get most of it the same length, it looks fine. But, I did make him go get it cut by a professional for our wedding day!

He always asks me to shave his neck between haircuts and I hate it. I can never get a straight line and I never know how far up to go. Cosmotologists have to go to school and get licensed to do that kind of thing! But I do it anyways because it makes him happy to have a clean neck.

P.S. Why do you have to wait until you’re married to cut his hair? If you want to cut it, why don’t you start now?

What? You ladies cut your man’s hair?! My husband would be terrified. I would be terrified. I can tell you right now, this would not end well. 🙂
