I am such a night eater!!!! But on the weekends I eat so much no matter what…Monday morning always sucks!
I wouldn’t say I eat more, but I defintiely splurge on the weekends. We eat homecooked meals all week, but I have a serious weakness for brunch so that’s my usual weekend splurge. I try not to let it get out of control though, because what’s the point if it undoes all my healthy eating during the week? I try to not eat anything after dinner. If I do need a snack, I’ll have some fruit. If i am seriously craving dessert, it will only be skinny cow or weight watchers ice cream.
I eat more in the morning and at lunch. A big bowl of oatmeal with fruit and cinnamon and at lunchtime, a big dinner style meal (rice or potatoes with beans and loads of veggies. or a lasagna or veggie burgers) Supper time is usually just a snack.
I work cleaning at night so that’s how I got used to eating.
Lo-cal sweets are a no no for me – I just eat more of them! I feel truly crappy on a low-carb diet. I love carbs but I had to learn how to eat them correctly — AFTER protein and good fats. And the correct carbs – no white flour, rice or sugar. Whole grains are myfriends. However Carbs by themselves at night triggers binging in me so now I take cinnamon — it helps.
I feel like I eat most weekdays bc I work from home so i generally have breakfast then a bigger lunch and sometimes a snack. By dinner I’m generally not that hungry so I don’t eat a ton. Weekends I’m usually more busy doing fun stuff and I almost never eat more than 2 meals (usually breakfast and dinner) or sometimes just a snack in the AM then a late lunch.

Yep. I always want to eat more at night. I try not to, but I’m not always successful. I’ve gotten to where I just save the calories so that I can eat later. That way it doesn’t wreck my day at least. I give myself one cheat day a week, which is Saturday. I so look forward to it all week. Sunday I sort of feel guilty about Saturday, so I usually do good (like today).
@Dell79: Yes, I tend to eat more towards the evening. I don’t go to bed till around 2am and get up at 10am most days though. After I get up and eat breakfast, I go to the gym, then drink a protein shake after my work out. I usually don’t eat again till dinner time, which is around 5 or 6. Since I am mostly studying after dinner, I tend eat more at this time. If I don’t stay physically busy, I eat. But it works out okay because prior to dinner, I’ve typically only taken in 500 calories.
I eat more on the weekends for sure. My biggest problem though, is alcohol on the weekends. Makes for a bloated belly 🙁
Alcohol also equals tipsy munchies.
I tend to eat worse on the weekend. Drinking fri or Sat night gets tricky too. When I was going to WW a Sunday morning meeting kept me in check. So I set my own personal weigh in day for Mondays to keep on track through the weekend.
For some reason I eat less on weekends. I think it’s bc I wake up a little later than I normally would for work and I’m active (not sitting in front of a desk for 8-9 hours) so I don’t get hungry. I normally just have a bowl of cereal and dinner on the weekends. Though, some weekends I tend to drink all my calories!
