Do you ever delete cycles/charts?

If you think they’re messing with the FF data, then I would uncheck them from stats. I did that with my very first charted cycle because it was obvious that it was abnormal.

Christy42213: ‘s right. Under the ‘Analysis’  tab of FF Click on ‘Cycle History’ (under the ‘Stats Graphs’ heading). At the top of the page that pops up you will see ‘Include/Exclude Cycles’ in a gray box. Click on the box and on the next page you can uncheck the little box that says ‘In Stats’ below any cycles you don’t want included. This will stop FF from including them in your future calculations, but is not permanent (you can recheck the box if you want to undo this later), nor does it delete the cycle, so you still have the data.

I would never delete data.  “Good” or “bad”, it’s still data that may be useful at some point if it was taken accurately.  I don’t usually bother charting all month.  I usually just start around CD 16-18 b/c I know I never ovulate that early.  As long as you get a few days before O, that should be enough for accurate CHs… or at least it has been for me.  For you second one, that is definitely not going to show CHs, but I’m not sure how much it matters when FF thinks you O.  I see charting as to tell you if and when you O’d, not as an accurate predictor.  OPKs and CM is a better predictor.

vanike:  I got pregnant my first cycle on FF but miscarried. It counts the whole pregnancy as one long cycle and messes up all the statistics. I don’t really pay attention to the stats, so I haven’t deleted it. But it would probably be a good idea if you were trying to nail down average cycle lengths or O dates.
