I have $700 of dental work coming up this summer. My car needs new tires. Our bathroom needs remodeled. Our kitchen needs tiled. Our deck needs fixed. I really need a break from work but I’m saving up vacation days for the wedding, so no vacation this year. Etc!
Sometimes I wish I could be a kid again, just for a few weeks, and not have to worry about all this stuff!

My husband and I were just talking about this yesterday as we drove around and around trying to find a rental house we can actually afford. Growing up sucks.

I hate being an adult when everything goes so, so wrong. I wish that money or a nice man would come along whenever we have a condo problem and that it can be magically fixed and I can forget about it. I’d never want to be a kid again though, too many rules…maaaaan!

My FI and I were just talking about this last night! We both wish we could be kids again, even if for only an hour. I miss being carefree!

Ummm yeah pretty much anytime I receive a bill for something, rent is due, something breaks, etc. Also, I hate feeling/seeing my body actually aging.

All day, every day. At least lately…

I drove by kids at summer camp taking tennis lessons on my way to work Friday and desperately wished I could spend the summer playing tennis, swimming, reading, and doing nothing!!!! Being a kid again would be fun, at least for a little while! 😉

HECK YES!!! i hate the bill part. I miss taking a nap after school and my biggest worry was what colored belt i was going to wear to match my shoes!

I totally had a little cry-fest last week in which I definitely wailed “I don’t want to be an adult anymore!.” Ha! I think the dryer stopped working and i had a mild melt down.

Only when I see new wrinkles/gray hair. But overall I love being an adult, never really cared for child/teen/college hood!

I HATE it, I hate having to make my own Dr. Appointments I hate paying for the co-pay/medications. I hate having to go in for my annual eye checkup and having to pay for my glasses and contacts. I hate having to keep up with bills. On the other hand I LOVE being able to make my own decisions, and being able to take care of myself.

Most of the time, no. But when I find that I have A LOT of bills I’m like it sucks to have to be responsible…so yeah, I understand your sentiment.

Agreed! Growing up can be a pain.
Good luck with everything!

Ugh! Yes! Especially in the summer. Like, I want summers off so I can go to camp and make smores or run around the yard in my bathing suit with the sprinkler on! I want to run up to the ice cream truck and not feel like a dork. I HATE being stuck in an office on really nice summer days.
