this has happened to me the past two night 🙁 like last night after only sleeping 6 hours, i woke up (basically at 6am) and couldn’t fall back asleep. and it bothers me because i didn’t have to wake up early and now i am tired the rest of the day!
does this happen to anyone and do you have tips on how to fall BACK asleep when you feel wide awake at too early in the morning?

urgh, this is so annoying when it happens! I find sleep hypnosis videos on yooutube work well, i listen to them of my phone. But, if I wake up around 6am, I try to get up, and do some morning exercise and get some work done, and have an afternoon nap if possible. Don’t go to bed the next night too early though, or it will happen again.

@Roux: i really want to get in the habit of going to bed early though, thats a whole different story. like i would love to sleep by 11pm everynight (thats early for me!) and wake by 7am – 8 hours, not 6!
hmmm, i like the hypnosis idea. i wonder if i can find some audio type mps files of something hypnotic, i never thought of that before! and i often listen to audiobooks in bed on my MP3 to fall asleep. but at 6am, it wasn’t working.
