… you could swap a few of your wedding guests for a few of the Bees?
Not to sound as though I don’t appreciate every invited guest (who doesn’t?) but sometimes I read the supportive and insightful comments on here and think, “wow, she’d be fun to have around on my wedding day!”
It’s especially noticable when a particular family member or friend is being, shall we say, less than awesome. I start to think that nobody will appreciate the thought we’d put into many of the details quite like the ladies around here.
Does anyone else ever feel this way?

I do! But mostly because I know they would pay attention to the small details of the wedding way more than most of our guests 🙂

@blondeeebuckeye:That’s exactly how I feel!!!!
I always ask FI if all the DIY is really worth it, I feel like some of the guests won’t truely appreciate how much love, time and effort we have put into the wedding! Which is sad to us, but probably nobody else I realize, but still, it would be nice for everyong to notice! I know the bees would!

@blondeeebuckeye: ITA! I can already see the programmes crumpled up and left on seats, the flowers that they’ll assume “came with” the venue and/or caterer, only a handful of people even realising that we have a certain theme and specific colours… Aww.

I’m glad I’m not alone!
@Drums: Crumpled programs… what a vividly depressing image. I feel like planning a wedding has made me a better guest — I now fully understand the blood-sweat-and-tears that goes into this kind of event!

@BostonBaby: IKR, it ALMOST makes me want to not put too much effort into making programmes in particular… But we all know that’s not really going to happen 😉
