I can see how one would feel uncomfortable to be made fun of...however, the internet is an open forum and although the Bee boards are a supportive place, it doesn't mean that everyone on the internet will be as supportive. It's the chance you take when you post personal information, opinions, etc. on the internet!
From what I've heard about her she's pretty rude. And to make fun of someone for a serious conversations doesn't help. lol she's probably applied for a bee position and didn't make the cut.
Me thinks the lady who put that site together has too much time on her hands. That's what I think. I don't know if it's necessarily offensive...... I mean, hey, if she doesn't like wedding message boards then don't bother reading them.
If nothing else, it's a reminder that this is a public forum. That's probably a good reminder for all of us actually!
WeddingBee is a public forum. As such, we know that we're putting content out there for everyone to read. I'm fine with it being mocked because I quite like freedom of speech. I could see how someone would be hurt, but I'd hope that the easily offended just wouldn't look at such sites.
There are actually a few websites that make fun of people here and on The Knot. I don't really think that video is funny but not necessarily offensive. At least she doesn't post the names of the people she is talking about like others do.
LOL I just saw the videos and I personally think they are HILARIOUS!!!! Then again I have a pretty good sense of humor and if she ever did make fun of me I would laugh!
uumm its sort of bad that she thinks she is funny... lol. other than that its just sort of lame.
I'm a little embarrassed to say that I found it completely hilarious! But then again, if I recognized myself in one of these, I would probably think it was even funnier. :)
I have to agree with JennyChicago. I thought they were pretty funny. Of course she exaggerated things. That's how it becomes funny.
Wow..this was the first time i've seen this. Don't think it is offensive... thought it was pretty funny!
I'm a little indifferent. People will make fun of anything if they get an audience. I don't like stupid humor, but I do have to admit there are many things I posted about or stressed about that I never thought I would. We all know that we stress over the little things that only other brides could understand.
I don't think it's offensive at all. I think it's pretty funny.

I found a link to these videos on another post (one that she'd actually used in a video) and was curious what other people thought of them? On one hand, her interpretations are exagerated, for sure, and sometimes funny. But she has one titled "I'm so embarassed" where I actually recognized it as part of a discussion I had read (though not participated in). It made me feel a bit uncomfortable, knowing that she based them on real conversations and uses some of the actual wording (though she changes some things and completely fabricates others). If I found that she'd made fun of one of my posts, I think I would feel a bit....violated maybe? I guess mostly because I appreciate the community here and feel safe sharing about sensitive topics.
What do you think?
