I almost flagged one once, but hesitated. When I changed my mind and went back to do it, but the post was gone.

I probably flag a couple posts a day because they’re spam, double posts, or posted on the wrong board.  I also flag posts if someone is asking for a mod, or if there’s something I think is a personal attack.

ETA: Example of personal attack I would flag was the other night when one poster called another a “stupid b*tch.”

ETA again: Sometimes I’ll flag if a thread is really heated just to let the mods know so they can keep an eye on it.

I really only flag vendors.  I tend to not flag people engaged in debate because this is the internet, and people can say absolutely whatever they want, however they want.  If someone has an asinine opinion or comes out looking like a dumbass, well that’s on them!

I flag:

threads in the wrong area (to ask if they can be moved)

I’ve requested a few threads to be stickied

And on a rare occasion I flag for blatant personal attacks

but the attack has to get pretty blatant and pretty personal for me to flag it.

Haaa did I spur you to write this post?

I flag if it’s spam, someone needs a mod to move something to another board, self-promotion, or the post is crazy offensive.

I do not flag that often but when I do it’s usually in the really heated threads when people are just being blatantly cray cray.

@MadameTussaud:  I only do it if the OP specifically asks the post to be moved.

@MadameTussaud:  I flag it even if the OP doesn’t ask.  Like when a dress post is posted in intimacy or something and it’s clearly in the wrong spot!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve flagged a post when the user was being rude or offensive. I also flag for spam.

@MissBoPeep:  We like it when people flag things to be moved even if the OP doesn’t ask!  Sometimes they don’t know.  Especially since Beehive becomes a catch all, but we really try to keep it as clean as possible.
