Indifferent mostly; when it comes to style/fashion/decor, what other people do doesn’t really impact me in one way or another.

My sister and I copy eachother all the time and I am flattered when she likes something that I picked out.

Flattered- I have a friend getting married in a few weeks and she is borrowing a lot of our ideas for wording of vows, website info etc. She means no harm by it and asked me for help. I was happy to have the information for her to use 🙂

I wish there was an option for indifferent. At my age, I really do not care or think about it.

It just depends what it is and who’s doing it, and the nature of how it was done.

If someone likes one of my wedding ideas, something I made or something I’ve purchased and do the same because they liked it too – totally flattery.

If someone steals one of my ideas and markets it as their own, then yeah, not cool.

Flattered if there is no overlap between the original idea/thing and the copycat, bothered if they end up side-by-side. What I mean is that if my ideas were copied by a someone operating in a different social circle (or at least for that specific idea), I’d feel flattered; but bothered if we’d have our two copies coexisting side-by-side, or experienced by the same people.

Stranger516:  When it comes to anything except for my work (school or professional) I couldn’t care less. When it comes to my original thoughts used to create stellar projects/plans? Back off!

I’m going to break the trend and go with bothered! I really don’t think it is too much to hope that people can develop their own style and such, instead of constantly borrowing from one source. Also, I know you didn’t mention this, but when people try to copy-cat your relationship, which can lead to competition) that is bothered in all caps in my book!

I could not vote because I have felt both. If someone I dislike copies me, I get really irritated by that… If it is someone that I do not dislike, I am flattered. I usually notice when someone does something that I did previously. That is one of the downsides of being really observant. I get over it of course, haha!

Life is too short to be bothered by crap like that.

I’m flattered. My wedding is honestly a mish mash of my own ideas as well as things I saw at weddings of loved ones and really liked! I hope they are flattered :p
