Oh dear...I'm guilty!!  Our dog has two stockings (one from me & DH and one from my parents).  He is getting about 6 different kinds of treats this year, a GIANT rawhide, a new shark squeaky toy, a new collar, and a tug toy.  Oh...and I forgot a couple cans of special dog food as a "treat" and a frisbee. He is a spoiled pup!

I usually get them a new toy and treats and whatever else catches my eye. This year they get nothing because well we aren't getting anything. Money is just too tight. Usually their "grandparents" get them something so hurray for gram and poppy and grampa tom!

The pirate ship is epically awesome!

We don't have pets, but we're getting our parents' dogs Christmas presents this year :). Nothing too much, just a pet blanket and some toys from Target.

I do!!  My dog and cat both have stockings that match ours, but smaller, and they'll get treats and some new toys on Christmas morning!  My dog even got a Christmas gift for my parent's new puppy (which would be her Uncle haha)...they're our family!

of course, Santa loves pets too! (my family pets had stockings that actually said that!) our pets all have stockings that get stuffed with goodies. :)

Birthdays we usually just give them some yummier food than normal and some good treats... and of course let them do their favorite activity whether it's a walk, an un interupted nap or overdosing on catnip... they love it.

We also give them "fancy dinners' on thanksgiving and such...

I've tried but my cat is not interested in treats or toys.  His favorite thing is paper bags, boxes, and wrapping paper.  During the holidays I just make sure to leave those things out longer than normal so he can play with/in them.  hahaha

My parents always gave my dog a present or two growing up- wrapped and in his stocking and everything, haha. Now that my dog is an old man he doesn't get anything, but maybe that's just because I'm out of the house and it was always for my benefit anyway ;)

This is my first Christmas with my cats and I probably can't afford to get them anything... but when I can you can bet they'll have their own stocking :)

We don't celebrate the holidays with any type of gifts as humans, but we do give holiday presents to our fur freinds due to their unconditional love , loyalty and appreciation towards us! This year he got a Kong chew resistant bed! and a furminator brush plus a new frisbee :) My horse got shipped a box of sugarcubes and special horse cookies!

Not only do we gift our pets, so do all of the "grandparents"! This is our tree right now and literally almost half of those gifts are for our 3 pets from either us, my MIL, or my FIL (my mom's gifts for our pets are at her house since we're spending Christmas with my family this year).

Do you gift your pets? : wedding Tree

Um.. not sure why it is sideways. Sorry about that. Also, the reason there are unwrapped boxes is because my MIL just gets our gifts direct sent from wherever she buys them. And I didn't want to wrap my own gifts haha.

This year is Milou's first Hanukkah so she's getting a lot of goodies :) A new martingale collar, three extra thick 12" bully sticks, an extra large kong, two stuffingless toys that crinkle, one giant football frog stuffie, one pirate round rope stuffie, an owl stuffie and a ghost stuffie. A pretty nice haul considering she's gotten tons of goodies all year.

I wrapped her new collar like a tootsie roll and she helped me rip the paper off herself :) Her stuffies are in bags with tissue paper so I can give her one and tell her to find her stuffie and she knows to look inside. Best of all, we've had our gifties out under our Hanukkah tree for weeks and she hasn't touched a single one that hasn't been give to her.

Junior Mink is getting a new collar & leash set and a large gift bag filled to the brim with squirrel and duck toys.  Those are his favorite.  He loses it when we get him just one new squirrel...I can't wait to see how he reacts to a big bag full.

He loves sticking his nose in shopping bags, too, so we think he'll be pretty good about opening his present.  :)

Totally filled a stocking for our dog. We got her some treats, a new collar, a few new toys, and a laser pointer.

My mom goes all out for her too (she is the only 'grandbaby'). I know for sure she is getting a new bed, and probably some toys and treats as well. Spoiled!

I bought my chocolate lab a nice bed for 'Christmas' but it's more that I'm trying to break him of sleeping in bed with me before we get married! He actually LOVES it! He used to cry all night if we spent the night somewhere and he couldn't get in bed with me (my fault.. I got him when he was 4 weeks old and the runt of his litter and babied him to the absolute extreme) but now that he has his own bed he LOVES it and is so secure!

I got our cats a feather toy and I got them (mostly me) new heavy ceramic food dishes. I got tired of finding tupperware containers all over the floor, and our male cat has a bad habit of flipping the water dish. So, merry christmas cats! You get fancy dinnerware.

@Aure: does that laser thing create a squiggly line or just a dot?? The Mr is mad about our (sorry, his) cats, and about gadgets. If he's missed out on a new toy he will not be happy!

Alas, I am currently without a pet. However, this year, I sewed reflective bandanas for all of my canine friends. In the past, I bought gifts for my cat and used catnip while wrapping the presents, so she'd unwrap them herself.

@Eva Peron: is this not the best bed ever? We got Gizmo the one with cedar in it, but had to get rid of it, he was allergic to cedar. And got one without cedar in it. They're great! And the furminator is AMAZING!

Gizmo this year got a chinese style box full of treats from my boss. A bag of orange balls (they're made to look like tangerines, from target). Sweet Potato Kong filling, peppermint Kong filling, 3 angry birds toys and a few other things.

@Showers: It's like the handheld ones, it just moves on it's own, so both, depending on how fast it's going. I had gotten them the more expensive version but one of my cats say on the top of it and it broke. They actually enjoy this one better anyway.

@rheabee80: Their Golden used to love chasing squirrels back when they lived in New York but there aren't any here in Nevada. She chases lizards here but I figured she would love to see a squirrel again, haha.
