Hahaha YES! My ring (besides my dog) was the 1st to get a photo session when I got my new camera right after Christmas. My FI thought I was nuts. LOL
ETA your stone is so gorgeous. I have a three stone and the center princess looks just like your showstopper.

Haha I am totally with you on this! I thought I was crazy! I'm a photographer and when I first got my ring I took so many pictures of my ring. Those pics probably won't ever been seen by anyone but I loved just taking pictures. Lately I've been more disciplined though haha
Oh totally! I just found this awesome keychain flashlight that FH has and it's perfect for getting some fire. I'm some times embarassed to hand my phone over to someone-I have a million pix of my ring :)

Nope! It's a lovely ring but I never thought to take pics. This is my 3rd engagement ring so I am not all ga-ga about it. I rarely wear it because of work or home activities, only when we go out or something like that.
All the time, but I never share them with anyone except FI.
By the way, OP, gorgeous ring, and it is not "small"!
I do this all of the time! My FI was tickled when he seen so many pictures of my ring in my phone. :) This one, I took right after being engaged when I found some miscellaneous objects laying around at a corn maze.
Lol I just did this at my desk at work the other day! I was looking over my shoulder making sure nobody happened to walk by and see me.

I love doing this! My fiance gave me some flowers for Valentines day, and I had a blast taking pictures with my ring! 
Hahaha! Short answer is no. I don't take photos of my ring. :D But I find it cute that other ladies do!
I usually play video games when I'm bored. :)
I am not sure I am ever bored but I do take pictures of my rings on semi regular basis when the light strikes just right or when a new weather pattern shows up. I have a picture of the rings in the first snow, sunshine, blizzard, rain and everything in between, lol. I've only had the set for 5 months, so may be this stage will fade away.
Less than three weeks into being engaged and I find myself doing this. I find that elevators have amazing light for snapping ring pics. Almost got caught once though!
I've only taken two photos, one was when I first got it. And the other when I was trying to decide on the wedding band. The one I took in the jewelry store looks WAY better. So when I get a chance (and some good light) I want to take some pictures.

I took this today. Excuse my horrendous nails!
I've had my ring over two years and I still always find myself staring at it. Today I found some *decent* flourescent lighting and gave my ring a mini phone photo shoot.
I know she's small but I love her a lot. :)
