I’m pretty sure we have one in the cabinet above the stove…

We have one in the cupboard under the kitchen sink…it’s really old, though. Do they expire?

We have one on our upper floor attached to the wall sort of in the corner, and another in the basement, also attached to the wall.

Pinkmoon:  It’s probably best to keep it somewhere else since most fires start on top of the stove. The flames would prevent you from reaching your extinguisher!

We have one under the kitchen sink across the kitchen from the stove/oven/microwave. It’s about 7 months old and I hope we remember to occasionally check its pressure in case we ever actually need it and it is still useable.

springbride23:  Yes they do expire. We check the dates on ours twice every year when we change the clocks. We also test the smoke detectors at that time.

We keep ours under the kitchen sink. prior to moving in with my husband. I actually had an oven fire, scariest experience of my life!!

We have one in the kitchen. I didn’t realize they expired though, so apparently we have a useless one in the kitchen.
