Reading - I read a different book every week! Love to knit as well :) What about scrapbooking? or some kind of crafting?
Blogging. ;) And making headbands. And watching LOTS of tv. And sometimes working out/yoga.
Coughing weddings :D blogging I love STAMPING!!! a lot!!!
I'm all about reading and blogging. I do some scrapbooking/crafting...I have a feeling once we get closer to the wedding I'll be doing a LOT more!
Blogging :) It's actually become a real hobby of mine.
I wish I danced more, but I don't make the time to do it enough or willingly spend the money on dance class. I am trying to change that this year. I love to dance.
I wouldn't say that I have hobbies, but more like interests that I try to cultivate. I would say those interests are food (going to new restaurants, cooking new dishes, reading about food) and Going to cultural events/museums.
This is actually a bad list because all of my interests cost money :( That being said, I am still supposed to learn how to knit this year. I need to get on that.
I actually read quite a bit, but have never really thought of it as a hobby. And I've been trying to get into photography, but I'm scared about how much money I could spend so quickly. Eek!
Just this past fall, I took sewing classes thinking I might really like it, but I was TERRIBLE! I think I might just start taking random art classes at the adult education center to try new things. Basket-weaving anyone?
My hobbies now include trying to keep my 9 month old entertained and find activities for us to do! Also I am a GOOGLE QUEEN! I just like randomly looking up stuff that I might like to try someday whether its a place or a recipe.
Reading. Writing. Music. Sewing my crazy quilt which probably won't be done until 2050. Working out in the warm months. Amateur landscaping, gardening, baking, digital photography/image editing, dancing. Movies--watching them, making them, talking about them. I like doing a lot of creative things in small doses. (Except reading, writing, and music. I'm a bit excessive with those. ) I'm a dabbler personally. What have you tried out, Bree?
I used to sing, but the only formal groups around here are church choirs or the university one (which you have to take for credit, and I never have room in my schedule). I miss it A LOT. I read now. In the summer, we garden. I used to go horseback riding a lot, but that fell away with school (well and the weather now).
Horseback riding & training, cooking and baking, and reading lots!
Once the wedding is done I'm going to take ballet again.
I want to try scrapbooking but those aisles scare me.
scuba diving, cooking, reading, sewing, woodwork, i do a live tv show online blog from Feb to May every year (i think this is year 4 by memory) and about to take up cake decorating - only thing that doesnt interest me is scrapbooking
Sewing, knitting, baking, photography, reading, motorcycles... lots of hobbies :) I love them all but sometimes I feel overwhelmed because there's so much I want to do and I only have so much free time to do stuff!
Ooo, I forgot cooking and baking! lilyfaith reminded me. And yay for horseback riding!
What are you interested in? Anything you liked doing as a kid?
I'll give you some of mine as suggestions: writing, blogging, joining a bookclub, cooking & trying new recipes, yoga, bike riding, hiking, running races, horseback riding studying a foreign language, taking college courses for fun, photography, travelling, reading non-fiction books to learn things (esp books on eastern philosophy, finance, history, gardening), reading the classics (I like reading as you can see!), gardening, jewelry making, knitting.
FI is a musician/singer and is very talented. Sometimes he says he wishes I was more artsy like him--I have lots of interests, but unfortunately not any real talent or anything one thing that I have spent a lot of time doing (other than horseback riding lessons for 10 years as a kid). So I am kind of in the same boat as you. But I do think it is important for every person to have a hobby or something they enjoy to do on their own.
Blogging is definitely my biggest hobby now... I've been trying to post on my personal blog every day (at least, every weekday) and I love it, but it is time consuming!
I do feel like I need some more outdoorsy-type of hobbies, but I'm not very outdoorsy by nature. I would also love to take some dance classes again, but I don't have the money to take regular classes (and it's hard to find studios that have open classes where you don't have to commit to a recital or anything... my dance recital days were over in 1997, thankyouverymuch).
I should also read more. I'm working on that :)
I wish I did. Finishing our house takes up all our free time or all our hobbies are house related.
I really enjoy photography as well. You don't have to spend too much money if you already have some sort of point and shoot digital camera to start out with, and then if you are really enjoying it you could get into a more professional camera. I like to hike outside with my camera and take pictures of the natural environment. It doesn't cost anything and I get a little exercise while doing it! I use different sites to print my favorite pictures and hang them in our apartment.
I play the violin (when I have time) but honestly I think lately my hobby has become watching House DVDs!
I knit. A LOT.
I also sing. I love to sing. I should have been a music teacher. If anyone needs a wedding vocalist in the KC-metro, please let me know. I promise I won't mess it up and I could really use the money since my husband is currently unemployed. I sing at funerals pretty regularly.
My FH is an avid cyclist... that's his hobby! He's attempting to get me into it, but I'd much rather stand on the sidelines cheering him on with a fun sign!!
If you would count reading as a hobby, I would say that that's what mine is. Or Wedding bee ;] But I've been thinking that maybe I want to go back to dancing again (back, knee and hip injury tore me up). That was a fun hobby that I absolutely loved!
I don't have a hobby either.. pathetic, makes me feel pathetic.
I workout regularly and love to scrapbook and read. My non-school reading and scrapbooking have taken a backseat to grad school, but I can't wait t start back up as soon as that degree is in hand
i cook dinner every night and subscribe to pretty much every cooking magazine out there. i also dance ballet and read an insane amount of books

My husband has multiple hobbies; all of which he's really into. He invests a lot of time into each one, and I admire his passion (though sometimes it's annoying).
The thing is, I don't have any hobbies. I feel like I really need to get one, but I'm so busy already, I just don't have the time.
So, do you have any hobbies, and if you do, what are they? I need some inspiration!
