I do. I tell myself if I’m in semi decent shape and want to do I vow renewal in 25 years I’ll find a way to get the dress (I know unrealistic).
The day I bought my dress I went over to the other bridal shop to try the runner up dress on.

Yes, but it was too expensive. In fact, I think about a lot of other dresses besides the one I got. But time was running out and I got screwed on my first one (which I wasn’t sold on either).
I would say if it really burns your biscuits, then get it ASAP and sell your dress on oncewed or something.

Yes. I am still in love with the DB 9T9612. And while I do love my dress, I look at least once a week to see if the lace dress has come down in price. If it comes within reach and there’s enough time before the wedding, I can see myself getting it and selling off the current one.

I did shortly after I bought my dress, but not anymore. I’ve decided the one runner up dress was too trendy and the other one was not the right shape.
It also helped a lot after I had my dress fitting, when I saw my dress the right length and with the bustle and everything. That sealed the deal, and no more thoughts of runner up dress.

@messymonkey: Oh no, I love the dress I got as well- it was more affordable, a completely different cut and I do love it. I just love this other dress also- it was more than double the price, well three times the price and I just couldn’t justify it but I could in 25 years I’m sure- haha.

Oh yeah.. I definitely have a dress I still think about I talked my fiance into a 5 year vow renewal at the place we really wanted to get married but couldn’t afford and so I can wear the other dress. Lol. He’s more excited about the idea than I am.

Yes. The dress that I fell in love with was at a bridal salon where I got HORRIBLE service. They are the exclusive carrier in my area of that designer.
I ended up getting the dress my mom loved best, because we got amazing service at the other salon.

I love my dress so much, but I do still like my runner up dress. It made me look so flipping thin! And it had sleeves, but the sleeves were kind of weird and made moving my arms awkward, and it didn’t have a lot of bling on it that I want and sort of plain overall. But it just looked great on me.
