i kind of trick myself by having a cup of tea...it is delicious and somewhat filling...but not a lot of calories! but occasionally i will have some light popcorn or crackers with the light laughing cow cheese (LOVE THAT CHEESE!) I have special K with chocolate...but i havent tried it yet!
I used to, when I had dinner closer to 5. I'd usually have a yogurt orLaughing Cow cheese and wheat crackers. Now that I eat around 6:30 or 7, I don't feel the need to, but I do make sure to have a dinner with lots of protein. Working out helps me curb the munchies.
mmmm midnight snack.....
I was guilty last night. I had salt water taffy...
i just had 7 chocolate covered cherries as my before bed snack.. whoops, not good. 
I snack All. The. Time. I have a 10:30 snack at work every day, or I start to feel tired. I also have snacks in the afternoon, and sometimes after dinner. I try to eat smaller meals to make up for it, and I usually try to choose things like yogurt, granola, or even some veggies. That's what I *try* to do. What I actually do when I'm stressed is fall back on what I like- so, icecream and chocolate.
i think everything in moderation is good! i snack often, but i am still very fit as i work out a lot and thin...so i am guessing i dont oversnack. I just usually feel the need to have something sweet before bed!
I have a Weight Watchers popsicle after dinner every night. It helps satisfy my sweet tooth.
Not always, but now that I've read this I REALLY WANT ONE. Mmmm....I think there are some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups around here somewhere....
I try not to, but sometimes it happens. I try to keep it reasonably healthy.
Ms. Teddy, I drink a cup of tea a lot of nights too! Especially with some milk and honey. Otherwise, I would probably eat six handfuls of crackers without even thinking.
If i eat dinner at 5pm, I usually end up needing a snack around 10:00 or 10:30pm. But, since I'm usually at the gym until 7pm (i like to go around 530 or 6pm after work) I usually snack at 330 or 4 and have dinner when i get home, so I just end up eating later. Which works out b/c I try to eat a very small meal.
Last night I DID have a glass of red wine around 930pm though =]
Unfortunately, I can't survive without an evening snack. It's usually cheese & crackers, popcorn, or pretzel crisps.
However, as of lately it's been girl scout cookies. =)
I'll have a snack in the evening on the nights I have to work late...usually cereal or 1/2 a grilled cheese sandwich.
We eat at 8:30-9pm at night so no need for an evening snack at my house :o)
We usually eat late suppers, like HotChild, but I do eat an "evening" snack around 5 pm becuase I don't eat supper until late. My favorite snack ever is yougurt with trail mix. My second favorite snack is wheat crackers with cheese (shhh - its not low fat! Extra old cheddar!). My diet is quite low in fat anyway, so I can't bring myself to eat low-fat cheese. It is my indulgence!
@Valhalla: Me as well. I eat a pre-workout or pre-class snack at around 4:30-5.
I usually always have a snack at night. Most of the time, I'll go with some fruit (an orange, usually) or light popcorn. But sometimes, I cave and have some ice cream or something. It usually depends on if I go to the gym or not. Usually if I go to the gym, I get into healthy mode and will stick to a healthier snack. On the days I skip the gym, ice cream central for me!
Apparently you shouldnt really eat after 7pm (unless you're working out) because it just turns into fat overnight... but I am REALLY bad at following that rule :) I love ice cream but I've been trying to substitute that with low fat yogurt or a banana/piece of fruit instead.
I don't have a snack every night. If I do though, it's two small scoops of ice cream.

I find myself having a snack almost every single night because I try to eat dinner fairly early (between 6 and 7.) I usually go for some popcorn or a small bowl of ice cream, or most of the times a bowl of cereal. Just wondering if you ladies enjoy a yummy snack after dinner also? And if so, what do you enjoy having??
