I didn’t know what this was. Is this just to have a buffer on the side of the ring?

I was just talking about this on another thread : )  I looked at a lot of wraps and contoured bands because of the shape of my engagement ring.  But I ended up going with a straight band because I wanted the option to wear the band alone.  I am considering getting a matching band to wear in front of my engagement ring though.  I really like symmetry so that’s why I’m considering getting an additional band.

@Mrs Grape:  My diamond band was only $250 (granted the diamonds are really tiny, I wanted the engagement ring to keep the focus).  I think my husband almost died of a heart attack when I actually picked out something so cheap! : )

Haha crazy!! At least I own gold funds so I can benefit from the ridiculous price inflation!

I just tried one on today…. Not sure I’ll get it though. I am still deciding. I do like the option of being able to wear my wedding ring without my e-ring and thats not possible with a ring guard….Unless you wannna wear it with a big gap lol

I will most likely just go with a straight eternity band or something, which is what I had originally wanted. I was definitley blinded by the bling ๐Ÿ˜€

I wonder if something like this would look good?

    Or this

I have never actually seen one of these in real life though… So I dont know how it would really look Cry

    Here is mine.

Sorry, I don’t have my e-ring with my enhancer/wrap on this computer, so here is the link to a thread where I posted my enhancer/wrap that is also my wedding ring.

I work in a lab, so I didn’t want something too bulky.  Plus, I like how my wedding band and e-ring, has become one ring. I think it’s a bit symbolic.

Show me solitaire e-rings w/wedding bands and/or enhancers!

I know this is an older thread, but I can’t help posting. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I picked a wrap/guard (I never know what to call it!) because of the setting AND the cut of my stones (emerald and tapered baguette). Nothing would sit right next to my stones, the band was so narrow. I knew I wanted a bit more bling with the bands, but round diamonds looked awkward and out of place next to my step-cut diamonds and other step-cuts were suuper expensive or wide. So rather than getting two half-eternity bands, I got a wrap!
