My sister is doing our cake/cupcakes. She's an amazing baker/decorator and is hoping to one day soon make a business of it. A friend is our officiant. He was my youth pastor. Fiance's sister is helping with invitation making (she works in marketing). We have such an amazing and generous group of friends and family.
Our reception venue (a golf course) is the place where I worked all through college and grad school. The owners (and staff, and many of the golfers) are very very near and dear to our hearts.

Ahh, I love friendors :) We are lucky to have a few friendors, such as our officiant and photographer.
My cousin and her best friend did my makeup for the wedding. We even did two trial runs prior to the wedding. The outcome was fantastic. Everyone thought they were professionals.

My uncle is a pastor and our officiant. My mom is helping with a lot of the decorating and making our cake. My sister is a cosmetologist and will be handling hair. One of the members of the string quartet is waiving her fee to get us a better deal. I'm so appreciative of everyone's help ant talent!
No, I have all outsode help. I want everyone to just sit back and relax. My fam is tooo over opoinated. If yoy know what I mean.lol Si i hired a wedding planner and she is going to take cre of everything.
Just about everyone was a friendor for me- photos, flowers, officiant, make up, invitations. The only "outsider" was the videographer and the caterer.
My uncle is a wedding photog in Puerto Rico and is shooting our wedding- but so is one of my closests friends husband who is also a photog. My friends husband is a photographer who travels to Sri Lanka, Birtain, the Phillipines, Singapore and the States for various photography related events (such as weddings, obamas inauguration)...
I have another friend who is making our invitations too.

We might be having various family members make pies in lieu of a groom's cake.
I plan to ask my uber-talented cousin to play the processional. (As a side-note, I played the processional/exit-music at both of my siblings' weddings).
We'll probably hand off our video camera to someone in lieu of a videographer.
Also, I'm DIYing my invitations, flowers and other decor, but I know I'll have help from friends 'n' family.
Yep. Our officiant is one of my good friends from med school and our ceremony musician will be FH's guitar teacher from when he was i nhigh school.
My photographer is a distant kind-of friendor...
My grandma's sister's husbands' sister's youngest daughter. Yikes, eh? But she's really talented and I'd rather hire someone I kind-of know than a total stranger, all other things being equal.

Do you have any friendors pitching in with your wedding?
Mr. MagPie and I asked a good mutual friend to be the cantor for our church ceremony. Not really a vendor, but if we didn't have a musically-inclined friend, we'd have to pay for a stranger to sing at our wedding.
