@dana---your mom is gorgeous! I love the photos. I wish I had some on my computer to share. I am having old family wedding photos framed and placed on top of the grand piano at our wedding this summer!

This is such a sweet and awesome post!! I love looking at these pics!! Here are some pics of my parents wedding, they were married in 1969.
Here's mine. My mom is rocking a short dress. I believe their wedding took place in 1981 or 1982.
I am going to rent 2 dress forms and have my moms and my FI moms wedding dressed displayed at our wedding. We are also going to have a couple pics of each of their weddings on a table next to the dresses.
@nonimouse12 One of my friends did it, and I thought that it was such a cute idea. I asked my FMIL if she still had hers on Christmas and she started crying and gave me hug...she loved it!

The veils with the little hats kill me. I am wearing my mom's veil and it has the little genie-in-a-bottle caplet. Soooooo 1970s.

A lot of us make wedding choices hoping that our weddings won't look dated, but looking at these pictures, I absolutely love that you can tell what era the weddings are from. These are fantastic :)
My parents (1970), grandparents (1942) and great grandparents. I love that my mom rocked a short dress and that my grandmother was a colored shoe bride! And my great grandmother's hat...awesome.
@Roddybride ! Our parents have the EXACT same anniversary! August 9, 1980! I will have to scan pictures later!

My parents, late 1980s
It was my mom's second wedding, her first husband died of brain cancer. That's why I have an older sister who makes goofy faces. :P I couldn't find pics of the first wedding, which was the one with the big dress and nonsense.
My dad's parents, late 1950s:
Uneven bridal party. White jackets and bowties. And her wedding dress is actually blue! Awesome.
Now I want to find more, haha! I LOVE all of these photos!

Watching my parents' wedding video and laughing at all the 1980s people was one of my brother and I's favorite activities as kids.

Here are mine in 1984. We celebrated their 25th anniversary in June 2009.
I should mention that just last weekend my mom tried on her wedding dress. It fit but she couldn't get the back done up!

So incredible bees! I wish I could upload mine, but they are back in Canada. We're planning to have a display of as many generations as we can find at the wedding.

They just celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on Feb. 8th.
I'm so proud of them!

Ladygoodman- Your parents wedding picture cracked me up because my Dad had the same hair and beard as your dad! My parents go married in 1981.
